He could almost imagine that none of his adventures had actually happened, that he was really heading out to the island to goof off with his friends.
He'd been right there when Riku took the hit, but he'd been so entirely focused on Xemnas that it hadn't registered until afterward, when Riku started limping around. He couldn't regret it, because an undefeated Xemnas would have hurt way more people. Still, he wished he'd gotten a better look at what exactly had happened.
He hadn't seen anyone on the dock, but this was a small world. He knew a lot of people. Likely, they were going to have questions about where he'd been all this time. His parents were going to have a lot of questions.
