'Frenchie tried to slip a reference to a gentleman pirate once when an impressively pissed Blackbeard let him take out his lute and sing. So Blackbeard smashed the damned thing over Frenchie’s head and threw the pieces overboard, keeping a single string and telling Frenchie that he’d strangle him with it if he ever heard another word about 'him'.'
Or basically, Blackbeard and Stede find their way back to one another and find their happy ending, after a healthy dose of anger, a lot of rum, tears, a running through, and oh yes, angst. Lots of angst.
