“D’you want some chocolate?” Rui looks up from reading a magazine. Akito is holding out a box of chocolates. “ Sir, you haven't paid for that!” There's also a random lady trying to stop him from sharing them with Rui. Rui takes some chocolates and goes back to reading. Akito turns towards the lady. “Dude, who cares?” The lady has an outraged expression on her face and tries, not for the first time, to snatch away the box of chocolates. “ Just because a robbery is going on does not mean you should turn into a robber too!” Akito sighs. “What else are we supposed to do? Cry in fear, yeah no thanks.” The lady looks like she wants to reply something, but is stopped by the robber pointing his gun in their direction. “You! Shut the fuck up or I'll blow your brains out!” Akito grumbles a little then crawls over to sit next to Rui. He's reading one of those paranormal magazines. Akito draws up an eyebrow and murmurs to Rui. “What's this?” Rui looks up again and shrugs. “Got bored.” Akito nods.
“Didn't you hear me?! Shut. The fuck. Up.” How rude. Rui would rate this experience a -2 out of 5 for robber behavior. Everything else gets a 2 out of 5. At least they were in the magazine aisle when the robber started waving his gun around. Akito grumbles again. “We're gonna be late and An’s going to be annoying about it.” Rui nods. Not to mention the ticket costs for the movie. Why do the police take so long? For that matter, why is the robber taking so long? He yawns. Hopefully they can get going soon. “We should try getting to the technology stuff aisle.” Rui stares at Akito tiredly. He married an idiot didn't he? Technology stuff aisle… But the idea itself is good enough and they make their way over. The lady is looking at them weirdly, but she seems too scared of the robber to say anything. They have to stop every once in a while to make sure the robber doesn't see them, but after a few minutes they're there and Rui gets to work. It's mostly just kitchen appliances, but a blender can be threatening enough, he decides. Rui doesn't get very far into his build before the robber shows up. “OI! THE FUCK’RE YOU DOING?” He sighs. So close yet so far. Akito has a different reaction. He grabs the blender Rui was working on (rude) and chucks it at the robber, who drops his gun in surprise, trying to catch it, so it doesn't hit his head. The gun skids over to Rui who promptly takes it. “Wait, the safety is still on.” Akito stares at him before bursting into laughter. When the police arrive Rui gladly hands over the gun and goes to help Akito up, who is still dying on the floor (from laughter).
“C’mon, if we run, we can still make it to the movie in time!” Akito takes another second to calm himself then grabs Rui’s hand and they run to the cinema. An and Kohane are waiting there already. “Oh ho~ And here I almost thought you wouldn't show! Tell me, did Akito take too long to make himself look pretty again?” Rui goes to answer, but Akito cuts in. “Ya think I'm pretty An? I'm flattered, truly.” The two of them dissolve into their usual squabble and Kohane smiles at Rui asking him how their day has gone so far. Rui thinks for a second. “Hmm, pretty alright! We woke up, I finished some work, we went shopping, stopped an armed robbery and now we're here.” Kohane laughs nervously. Rui doesn't think she knows whether he's joking or not. They have to break up An and Akito’s “fight” to go inside and soon they find themselves watching the movie.
The next morning Akito yells for him, startling Rui awake. For once it's fine though, ‘cus he went to bed at a reasonable time. Well for him , reasonable. When he sits down at the table, to eat breakfast, Akito shoves a newspaper in his face. “Thanks, I was planning to eat something else though.” Akito stares at him for a second, pulls the paper out of his face a little and points to an article. It reads ‘Gay love saves the day’ and Rui stares at it for a second. “Oh. Cool?” Is all he replies. Akito groans, putting his head in his hands. “It's us!” Rui stares at him, then back to the news article. “Wait holy shit it is !” he laughs. “I'm gonna hear from Tsukasa about this aren't I?” Akito just smiles. Not a second later his phone rings. It's a group call from Wonderlands x Showtime. When he picks up his ears are assaulted by Emu and Tsukasa’s voices demanding to know what happened. Their microphones even peak at times. He laughs holding the phone away from him. What a nice wake up call.
