Summary
Most people's irises were practically black.
Most. But not all.
At the Facility, eyes had color.
Red, purple, blue, every color of the rainbow, plus a few more.
But they couldn't- or shouldn't- be found anywhere else. People with colored eyes were take to the Facility as soon as they were born.
The only way to evade the Facility was to hide, but one can only hide for so long.
