   Summary

   Cody feels out of place. Everything on this ship is gorgeous and perfectly maintained and he and Rex are two broken old soldiers. The old joke that he cost more to make than the object of his ire probably isn’t even true here.

   He huffs, annoyed, and slips out from Rex’s arm, crossing back to their bags, ignoring the twinge in his leg, and lifting Rex’s bag off the floor to the table so Rex won’t have to bend down for it later. He’s being a surly bastard and he knows it. He’s here because the twins matter to Rex, and Cody can suck up his discomfort for a few days to make Rex happy.
