Summary:

It’s only human for Guillermo to get cold in the vampire house, especially with fall starting

Notes:

I’m having so much fun with these. The timeline for this one is just sometime anywhere. I didn’t write it with anything set in mind. Enjoy!

Day 3: Sweater
Pairing: Nandermo

Work Text:

“Yes I will admit it’s a bit cold in here, but I don’t expect you to know because you’re dead and all,” Guillermo says to a confused Nandor. Nandor had been observing Guillermo all day, wondering why he was shivering and putting on multiple layers. He is slow so it did take him a bit to piece together what was going on, and he hasn’t been human in 750 years so he hasn’t felt like anything like that in what felt like forever. When he did finally figure it out he thought of something to help then asked Guillermo just to make sure he was right.

“Ah, alright. Come with me then,” Nandor quickly turns and walks into the library. He sits on the couch and waits for Guillermo to come into the room, which takes him a minute because he was dumbfounded by what Nandor did. If he was being honest he was becoming more and more shocked at Nandor’s actions because he had been acting strange all week. Maybe the whole month if Guillermo thought about it hard enough. But eventually he does join Nandor in the library and sits on the couch opposing him. Nandor looks confused and sits next Guillermo.

“Is there something you need Master?” Guillermo asks, a bit confused. He didn’t know why Nandor was acting so incredibly nice to him. He hasn’t even yelled at him or scolded him yet today even.

“I just thought that since you are human and you get cold you could use this since I have no use for it,” Nandor rambles a bit, and Guillermo swears he can see him blushing. But it could also be the fireplace light playing tricks on him. He sees what Nandor’s talking about, a cute orange fall sweater that Sean gave him as a gift.

“Oh, thank you. I’ve never borrowed clothes that was this big on me. It feels… nice,” Guillermo chuckles. It felt nice and warm, and it was nice that it was big on him too. What surprises him is that Nandor pulls him into a hug.

“You can keep it if you want. That’s what partners do right?” Nandor says casually, like he didn’t just suggest that he and Guillermo were together.

“P-Partners?” Guillermo practically chokes.

“Yes partners. Like master and bodyguard partners. What else would you call it?” Nandor asks, with what Guillermo detects is a hint of nervousness. Guillermo cuddles into him and giggles.

“You know if you like me you could just say it,” Guillermo reaches up and plants a soft kiss on Nandor’s lips. He’s caught by surprise when Nandor kisses back with the same softness. When they finally pull away for a breath, which Nandor is reminded he doesn’t necessarily need, Guillermo cuddles back into him.

“But you do have to admit you do look adorable in that sweater,” Nandor plants a kiss on the top of Guillermo’s head and smiles.
