Work Text:
Once the implication set in, he realized that Conner and Sherman were planning on payback. And he couldn’t even warn her during dinner.
Even if Meg had awoken her powers after their attempt, Apollo, or Lester, still didn’t feel okay with leaving the issue alone. He needed to make sure it was understood not
Now, even as Lester, he couldn’t just cause bodily harm to a child. But he could do something else. Something only a god could do, especially to a demigod.
“Conner Stoll.”
“Apollo. Oh, wait. Isn’t it Lester now?” Conner smirked, gesturing down at his mortal body with his finger.
He rolled his eyes at the mortal before sighing. He needed to get his point across. “I know after your attempt that you should rethink about harming Meg.”
“How was I supposed to know that eye-poker was going to be some hotshot daughter of Demeter?” Conner frowned, rubbing at his other eye that wasn’t injured by Meg.
“And since you know now, will you stop?” Apollo asked.
Conner looked at him with raised eyebrows, “You don’t need to know any of my business.”
Apollo sighed, “Conner Stoll, if you hurt Meg, then I will do something that you won’t like.”
“Like what?”
Apollo straightened himself to stand just a bit taller. “When I become a god once again, I will track down your mother and give you a new sibling.”
Conner Stoll had never looked so dumbfounded. He had seen enough humans to describe the utter crestfallen expression that the young boy had on his face. It was enough to give him satisfaction.
Conner blinked back at him in astonishment. “What?”
“If you try anything, I will find your mother,” Apollo slowed his words down to make each point obvious to the horrified human. “I will make love to her...multiple times. And make you a new sibling to take care of.”
Conner remained silent.
He continued, “This goes for you and anyone else, so spread the word around the camp. If they try to hurt Meg, the one person I am responsible for on my trial, then I will personally hunt down and romance each one of your parents and repopulate my cabin.”
“Why?” Conner questioned, his voice becoming a terrified whine.
Apollo shrugged, “Why not?
“You can’t just do that,” Conner tried to reason with him.
Apollo tilted his head. He might not look intimidating in his human form. And not as beautiful as his godly body was. But he knew that when he got it back, there would be nothing to stop his threat from happening. “Do you want me to swear on the River Styx? I have all the time in the world.”
Apollo stared at Conner until the boy started to slowly walk away from him like he was a common predatory animal that wouldn't go after him if he backed away.

...
Apollo had miraculously gotten back his godly body only a few weeks ago after the battle with yet another antagonist.
And now, Conner Stoll was relaxing at his cabin reading a letter from his brother who was at college.
But one thought was constantly running in his head. The threat he was given on that fateful day.
He was expecting the god to stop by his cabin to check on Will and his other children. He was waiting for the sun to blind him when it passed over. Or for any of the demigod kids at the cabin to pass the message that Apollo warned them of another kid.
But no news has come.
Yet the one thing bugging him was the fact that he hadn’t heard from his mother on the television about her latest heist or anything else.
... Did he...
No, he couldn’t. Conner didn’t bother Meg that much after that day. So there would be no reason to.
...
Right?
