Knock
Knock
“Stiles, you okay?”
What the fuck? Stiles rolled over to see 12:07pm glowing on his clock. “Yeah.” He forced out as he rolled back over and covered his eyes with his arm. Immediately the memories came flooding back and he put his arm down next to him. FUCK. He stared at his blank white ceiling that was glowing in the moonlight just hours earlier.
“I was going to make lunch if you want to join.” Stiles gave a noise of acknowledgement before slumping out of bed. He was in his clothes from yesterday; having fallen asleep after Derek left without bothering to exert any more mental energy than needed. He sluggishly changed into pajama pants and a random shirt that was sitting on his chair. He grabbed his phone from his desk and made his way downstairs while checking it.
‘Pack meet tomorrow’ - Scott
Stiles frowned and put his phone in his pocket as he walked around the corner into the dining room. “What’s got you mopey this early in the morning?” Stiles looked up to see Noah sitting at the table with a grilled cheese. Stiles gave him a questioning look. “On the island.” Stiles turned around to see a grilled cheese on a plate that he missed. After grabbing the food, he sat down across from Noah and sighed before talking.
“Scott called another pack meeting. I have to talk about Darth Maul and what information I found.” Noah nodded while taking a bite. Stiles picked at his food while his knee bounced, not fully in the mood to eat.
“How was your meeting yesterday?” Stiles felt his heart rate pick up. He isn’t talking about Derek, you idiot. Wait-
“How do you know about that?” Stiles watched as Noah chuckled.
“You know me and Argent have a lot in common.” He said as he got up and walked into the kitchen like it answered all of Stiles' questions.
“Since when do you hang out with Argent?” Stiles stopped ripping a piece of the sandwich and looked over at Noah’s back.
“Since you told me about the supernatural.” Stiles’ mind was reeling. Shit he knows all of the illegal stuff we have done. “Don’t worry he doesn’t tell me everything, just that you guys are fine. He mentioned you guys were going out of town to meet some hunters because he found out that you didn’t tell me.” Oh.
“Sorry.” Stiles looked down at his mutilated sandwich.
“I know you can take care of yourself, but just let your old man know next time.” Stiles nodded.
“You sound like Dean.” Stiles mumbled as he took a bite out his sandwich.
Noah gave him a look then smirked. “We are both fathers of a wild card.” Stiles shook his head looking down at his sandwich. “Now how did it go?”
“Good. Argent knows I’m a Winchester now, so get ready for questions.” Stiles shrugged and took another bite.
There was a hum before Noah spoke again. “And the hole in your door?” Stiles stilled then pushed the plate away as he put his head on the table.
“I need relationship advice?” Stiles mumbled then lifted his head to look at Noah’s confused face. “What are we, me and Derek, like…” Stiles shrugged then looked away.
“Derek? The 22 year old werewolf that is responsible for teens? The one that was a person of interest?” Stiles nodded with a snort. “I know you are not exactly human, but by my standards you are a minor.” Stiles rubbed his face.
“He wouldn’t do anything. And honestly we have more pressing matters going on.” Stiles quickly diverted as he felt his heart race.
Noah nodded then sighed while looking into his coffee that he was holding. Since when did he…stay on topic Psota. “Ok we can talk about that later. What do you feel?” Stiles looked down at his fidgeting hands and thought. “Maybe give it time,” Noah provided after a minute. Stiles nodded.
“Yeah.” He pulled his sandwich closer and took another bite. Nothing else was said as Stiles ate. What do you feel? I don’t know. Everything at once?
Stiles spent the next couple of hours reading the book Bobby gave him. By the time Noah called him down for dinner, he realised that he was staring at the same page for the last hour. God, I am tired. He quickly got up and stretched. As his back popped the hole in his door caught his attention. He stared out into the hall and dropped his arms. What do you feel? Noah’s words rang in his head. “Like I want to punch him.” Stiles felt everything come back up from the night before. Next thing he knew, the hall turned into Noah looking at him concerned.
“Dinner?” Stiles nodded and swallowed. “Ok.” Noah nodded and looked at the hole for a second before nodding again. “Do you want me to patch it?” Stiles stared at him at a loss. Noah nodded for the third time that conversation. “Well let me know, ok?” Stiles looked away to his desk and half read book.
When Stiles came down stairs and walked into the dinning room he found Scott staring back at him. “Wha-”
“Mom and I were invited over.” Scott smiled with a hint of uncertainty. Stiles nodded and took his normal seat at the table at the end which allowed him to see both rooms to the left and right of him.. He looked over to Melissa and Noah in the kitchen laughing while Noah poured glasses and Melissa plated the food. “Wemightaswellbestepbrothers.”
Stiles stupidly looked over at Scott not understanding a word. “What?” He really needed a nap.
Scott looked at him concerned. “I said, ‘We might as well be step brothers’. Dude, are you alright?” Stiles sighed and opened his mouth just to be silenced by Melissa placing plates down on the table.
Nothing much was said that dinner. Well if there was, Stiles definitely didn’t hear a word. Stiles was walking Scott to the front door when the world came into view again. “Are you ready for tomorrow?” Stiles looked at him in confusion when suddenly it hit.
“Yeah. The book has been very helpful.” Scott lifted a brow. “What?”
Scott pulled him outside while their parents were still wrapping up in the kitchen. “Dude, are you alright? Ever since the last pack meeting you have seemed off.” Stiles nodded and put his hands in his pants pockets. “Is this about the whole thing that you and Derek were talking about?”
Stiles looked around at the sky. “He knows.” Admitting it to Scott felt like a lifted weight. Stiles sighed and met Scott’s eyes. “He knows about my dad. He knows about my powers.”
Scott nodded slowly. “He isn’t blackmailing you or anything, right?”
Stiles snorted and quickly mumbled while looking away, “Why would he blackmail the guy he was attracted to?” Stiles shrugged before actually answering. “No, but he warned me what would happen if I kept my mouth closed for too long.” Stiles shrugged again and looked back at Scott. “What?” He could feel the shock of his friend after pushing out his grace.
“So, I’m not making things up?” Now it was Stiles' turn to be confused.
“What?”
