Red and Duck began to walk into the darkness, with using Duck's phone as their light source. They needed to find the cabinet where the plates are to get the new fresh batteries for Electracy. The walking was awfully quiet, the only noises are their footsteps and Ducks mumbling, it was..well, akward. Duck was busy being mad at Yellow for telling him what to do and being disrespectful. Red on the other hand, he kept thinking about Yellow, how he just became smart, how he yelled at them, hell the kid beated the crap out of Duck. FOR A GOOD REASON! Red was quite impressed, scared to be the least, but really impressed with Yellow. Duck seemed to realize is tall friend was spaced out, in his own little thoughts, so he began to break the silence. "Can't you believe that boy!? Making us go and find new batteries for that silly electricity box! Being so disrespectful to me!" Duck rambled, using his hand as a moving gesture. Red didn't say a word and just looked at his short green-feathered friend. "Those batteries have done nothing good! Hmph, they made Yellow into a greedy battery hog! And hurt me, ME! CAN'T YOU BELIEVE THAT!?" Duck continued in a tone of anger and disappointment. "I mean..it was for a good reason Duck. You did tackle him and scared him." Red finally spoke. Duck looked up at him, "Are you turning on me!?" he questioned, stopping his pace. Red looked at the ground then back at Duck, "I guess I am. Listen we need to talk about the other one, Yellow." he answered, looking away from Duck. Duck chuckled, he and Red never had a serious talk about Yellow, he was as dumb as a rock. As Duck stopped chuckling he realized Red didn't even laugh, "Wait...your serious?" he questioned. Red sighed, "Yes I'm serious. It's weird how we don't know Yellow as much as we thought...How long have we lived together for?" he questioned. "Hmm..for only about..uhmm..I'm not sure..possibly..uhhh...4 years??" Duck answered, though he wasn't very sure. Red just blankly stared at Duck for his answer, "You know what we can ask Yellow, once we find the batteries." Red said, he began to walk forward. Duck began to walk with him but started to get upset, "Why? You don't like my answer!?" he asked, putting his right arm on his hip. Red sighed, "Well, you sounded unsure and-" "ME!? UNSURE!? HOW DARE YOU ASSUME SUCH THING, TO ME!?" Duck baffles, cutting of Red. Red didn't want to continue the conversation like this, so he thought of another way to continue. "Look, it's just...we don't know the kid as much as we thought. I mean, how does he have a electricity box? We use to help him change his clothes and we didn't even realize." Red said, looking down on the black and while tiled floor. "I mean we don't look at him too much unless you include the bruises and scars he sometimes makes" Duck said, looking forward to see if there are any cabinets. Duck began to get impatient, "How long have we been walking for?". Red looked at him, "I don't know..maybe six minutes?". Duck groaned from annoyance, he was beginning to get sick of this. "We should just go back, I can try to steal his batteries again!" Duck spoke, as he was about to turn around. Red stopped Duck by putting a hand on his shoulder saying, "No Duck, we can't go back. Yellow would be angry at us. Maybe the cabinets are around here, we have literally walked forward for the entire thing". Duck sighed from annoyance, "But this is getting ridiculous!". Red began to get irritated, "It's not ridiculous we caused this problem, and now we have to fix it." he said, walking over to the left. "Hey- where are you going!?" Duck asked, as he start to follow Red. "To see if there is anything here." Red answered. They had found something, on the floor. It was Electracy. Red sighed in relief, "Finally we found her". "Yes indeed, all we need to do is find those stupid batteries." Duck said, moving around his phone if there is anything. "Hey I see a counter, and some cabinets! Finally we can get this over with." Duck continued, as he began to walk towards the cabinets. Red wanted to continue their conversation about Yellow, he was a little worried of what will happen after they fix Electracy. "Can we please just talk about Yellow!?" Red asked, he was being sick of Duck not connecting with him. "Why? Why now do you want to talk about Yellow?" Duck asked, trying to reach the cabinets. "It's just, what if he overthinks about us. We have been harsher to him than usual than lately." Red answered, looking away as crosses his arms. Duck rolled his eyes, "Im sure he won't be angry with us or..overthink it. He is Yellow after all." Duck said, as he looked at Red. "He's not the Yellow that we know, at least for now. Besides after everything, I bet he's beginning to think different about us and, I don't...I don't think he'll see us as the same anymore. " Red replied, holding on to himself harder. Duck sighed, and stopped trying to reach the cabinets as he walked to Red and hugged him. Red was taken by surprise but hugged Duck back. "Listen..as much as I don't like to say it, I'm also a little worried what will happen now." Duck uttered. "Listen, I am worried for what Yellow will think of us. I am worried what will happen after we fix the electricity box. And I am worried what will happen next.." Duck had continued, as he hugged Red harder. Red was happy that Duck understood how he felt, "Me too buddy, me too. The thing I feel like we should be more worried about is..Roy " Red spoke. Duck immediately looked up at him as Red said that, "Oh, I forgot about that... wretched man." he said in a tone of disgust and anger. Red continued, "Listen, we just need to make sure Yellow does encounter Roy..I have a feeling it would get..well, ugly." Duck let's go of Red, "Obviously it would get ugly! Possibly with Yellow since he can be able to fight." he claimed, as he began to have shivers dow his spine.
"What if Roy knows how to fight? He can hurt Yellow." Red spoke.
"Then we have to make sure that Yellow never, and I mean EVER, near Roy or bloody hell even see him!" Duck answered, starting to go back to the cabinets.
"Any ideas on how we can before fixing Electracy?" Red asked, hold his other hand.
Duck began to think, "What if everytime we see Roy, we immediately push Yellow to the opposite way of where Roy is going!".
Red believed that sounded good, but he thought they still needed to fix some holes, "Sounds good but, how can we do that?".
"Let's discuss this later, once we put Yellow to bed of course." Duck answered.
"Okay, I guess that sounds like a plan." Red agreed.
Duck tried to reach the cabinets but failed miserably. So that meant Duck had to ask for help, "Can you help me with the cabinets..please?" he asked, as he was trying to reach the cabinets. Red chuckled a little, it was funny seeing his friend not being able to reach. "ARE YOU LAUGHING AT ME!? HOW DARE YOU!!" Duck yelled in anger, he doesn't like being laughed at. "Sorry, sorry, I'll help you." Red said, walking to Duck. "Thank you-" Duck was caught off by surprise as Red lifted him up to reach the cabinets easily. "RED WHAT IN THE BLOODY HELL ARE YOU DOING!?" Duck yelled, as he only squirmed for a bit. "I'm helping you by lifting you up, genius." Red answered, trying to not die of laughter. "THE AMOUNT OF DISRESPECT I'M GETTING FROM YOU AND THE OTHER ONE!" Duck screamed. "Just get the batteries already." Red said, rolling his eyes. "Hmph, YOUR LUCKY THIS IS THE ACTUAL CABINET WE NEEDED TO FIND!" Duck screeched. "Yeah, yeah just get the-" "OW!" Red got cut off by Duck as he got hit by a fallen plate. Red began to wheeze like a tea kettle as Duck was in spain without the s. "MY GOD, HOW DOES YELLOW GET USE TO THAT!?" Duck yelled, rubbing his head. "This is just hilarious." Red tried to say, but was wheezing too much like a tea kettle. "OH SHUT YOUR MOUTH RED!" Duck screamed, as he tried to find the batteries. After about eight seconds Duck found the batteries, "FINALLY I GOT HER STUPID BATTERIES! NOW PUT ME DOWN BEFORE I MAKE YOU RED!!" Duck yelled, as he held the batteries in his right arm. "Okay, okay sheesh." Red spoke, putting down Duck. "Finally we can get fix the lights, then we can never see weird dead bodies again! Like that briefcase or, that steak guy, or that..oh! That spinach can I just saw in the cabinet!" Duck said, as he was walking towards Electracy. "Wait there's a dead spinach can?" Red question, trying to look at the cabinet but it was too dark to see. "Yeah, weird isn't it?" Duck answered, as he opened Electracy. Duck looked up at Red, "You ready?" he asked. "Yeah..I guess I am ready." Red answered, as he walked next to Duck. "Then let's get this over with and done!" Duck said, putting the fresh new batteries in Electracy. The power immediately went on as Electracy had woken up. Everything was back to normal in their small kitchen, they looked like they only took a few steps to find the electricity box. Electracy rises up from the table and says, "And that's why we need Electricity!". Electracy began to fly back into her electricity spot, then it closed. Red and Duck looked at each other, "Wasn't she on the floor and not on our table?" Duck questioned. "Yeah...she was on the floor. This is weird." Red agreed. They both looked down to see a crying Yellow. Red speed up and kneeled down to look at Yellow, "Yellow are you okay!?" Red asked, whipping Yellow's tears away. "Oh? Don't worry I'm fine. Just needed to cry a little. It is healthy to cry." Yellow calmly answered, his voice didn't even crack. "Oh, okay that's good." Red sighed in relief, patting Yellow's non-messy hair. "You gonna explain the book to us?" Duck questioned. Red and Yellow looked up to seeing Duck crossing his arms. Yellow sighed as he started to get up and say, "Okay, I'll explain. But I have a good feeling you two should sit down for this one. Especially you Red, but don't worry! I would like to say this book has good enough new for us!" Yellow answered, as he showed the cover of the book showing weird, but awfully familiar language. Red and Duck looked at each other worryingly, but they trusted Yellow. The two began to get up and walk to their kitchen seats. Yellow inhaled and exhaled,
"Okay, let me start at the beginning."
