5 times akechi was flustered and 1 time he was not

Summary:

He quickly snapped his eyes up just as Kurusu’s gentle fingers touched the hair framing the side of his face.

He opened and closed his mouth a couple times, eyes widening.

He was lost for words.

Goro started, “You-“

Kurusu smiled, a pretty little thing, as he proceeded to tuck Goro’s hair behind his ear.

Or,
5 times Akira flustered Akechi and 1 time Akechi returned the favour.

Chapter Text

Stupid Kurusu and his stupid, long eyelashes and stupid, silky hair. Akechi spent more than an hour everyday just fixing his appearance and Kurusu thinks he can just waltz outside looking like a model in under 5 minutes?

The Kurusu in question was currently sitting behind the counter in Leblanc. His stupidly well-defined collarbones peeked through under his wide collared t-shirt.

“Akechi?”

Goro quickly snapped out of his daze. He met Kurusu’s eyes to see concern swirling in his grey eyes. He smiled, “Yes?”

“You okay?” asked Kurusu, leaning closer from his seat behind the bar. “You zoned out there.”

‘Zoned out looking at your stupid face,’ thought Akechi.

Akechi replied with a genial expression, “No, I was just thinking.”

Kurusu nodded, but not fully appeased. Why was he being such a worrywart about him?

Goro looked down at his nearly empty coffee up, missing how Kurusu raised his hand, reaching towards Goro.

He nearly shied away from the touch, but was entranced by the way Kurusu looked at him with such fondness. It was almost disgusting. Goro was sure his face was entirely flushed now, telling from the way the other snickered with a catlike grin.

Goro looked up at Kurusu, whose hand was still resting behind his ear.

A silence that has never felt so loud and crowded passed, filling the empty cafe as they just stared at each other for a moment.

Kurusu was the first to speak. The dark haired boy said, “Ah, your hair is so smooth.”

And then he pulled his hand away.

Goro looked down at his coffee cup again, blush reaching all the way to the tip of his ears. He wasn’t sure what sight he made, but it had to be something from the way Kurusu propped his chin on his hand to stare at him.

Ugh, stupid Kurusu.

If Goro were to have looked closer, he wouldn’t have missed a light pink dusting the top of his rival’s ears.
