"Desperate Kiss"
Lance was waiting none too patiently for his mate to get back from visiting his brother and his mate, both of whom were shifters. Shiro wasn't Keith's biological brother since Keith was a fire fey and Shiro was a wolf shifter. However, Keith had been orphaned when he was really young and Shiro had taken him in and raised him alongside his mate, a fellow shifter named Adam. Adam wasn't a wolf shifter like Shiro. He was an eagle shifter, which meant he was the one who taught Keith how to fly.
Lance had been taught to be wary of large birds of prey, so when he had seen one near a fellow fey, Lance flew over quickly, tackling the other fey, an action which sent the two fey tumbling into the flowers below. When Lance learned that the eagle he saw was actually a shifter, he apologized, but he also found himself drawn to the other fey. He could tell he was someone special, his mate.

Waiting for Keith was almost agonizing for the water fey, but then, he saw his mate's distinctive black and crimson colored wings. Lance let him fly into their home and land before launching himself into his arms. He wrapped his arms around Keith's neck and kissed him, his body curving into Keith's body.
Concerned that his mate might fall, Keith wrapped his wings around Lance and kissed him back just as passionately. He loved visiting Shiro and Adam, but he missed Lance. Perhaps Lance would come with him next time, but for now, he was going to enjoy being in his mate's company.
