Quick mini A/N:
this page will have some time skips. This will take place with the training with the ancient one that 2003 Leonardo had in season 4. Also this page is rushed and fast paced. It might not make sense to you.

A blue turtle was sitting on a log. The ancient one left him to just meditate and reflect on himself. All that the turtle's mind kept going to about the day that he last saw his dearest friend, Usagi Miyamoto. He remembers how he pushes away the rabbit when he was just trying to help. It was a mistake he regrets. Also that was the last time he ever saw or talk to his friend..
Well he doesn't know if they are even still friends.
Would the rabbit still want to be his friend?
Was it too late to apologize?
If it wasn't, would he even want to see him again?
God his mind was running with questions like that and he couldn't stop it. The turtle doesn't know if he should even try to apologize. He wants to, but what if Usagi hates him? All Leonardo knows is that he doesn't want to find out, just in case if he does. Deep inside he knows that Usagi probably wouldn't hate him for something like that, he hopes.
It would probably break his heart if he ever finds out if Usagi hates him or something. Leonardo doesn't want to admit it but he likes the rabbit, more than just his dearest friend. The turtle took a deep breathe in, 'Relax Leonardo you can think about this another time, for now's just focus on the training with the ancient one. Than once your ready you can see your family again' he says to himself.
After a while the Ancient one came back to start with an actual lesson. Leonardo gets up and starts to follow the ancient one...
Maybe one day he'll apologize to his friend after he's ready to stop training with the ancient one and goes back to his family..
*Time skip to months later*
The turtle had been reunited with his family for a bit now and still hasn't gone to apologize to Usagi. Leonardo was gonna do that before he and his family got attacked by the foot again. Karai is back, getting revenge for the Shredder. Like she has in the past and usually fails, but this time it's different.
Way different. This time, Leonardo was on the floor near his siblings and father. Karai has catches them off guard, late at night when they where sleeping. He was trying his best to get up but each passing moment, he starts to feel weaker. Soon enough he felt pain in his shell. The turtle lift his hand to touch his shell and he feels something running down it.
He was starting to blackout. Was this the end for him? Maybe luck will help him this time like in the past. Leonardo will found out soon enough. He just hopes everything can go back to normal. . .
A time skip, well should I say universe switch to the Rise universe.
The four turtles just finished sparing. They were all hungry.
"Mi hermanos, is anyone up for some pizza?" Leo questioned. The other three answered, "shell yeah I am!" "I'm down anytime, " "Indeed I am, is that even a question?"
"Pizza time, pizza time!" Mikey and Raph chanted at the same time. With that Leo grabbed his swords and opens a portal to Run of the mil. Than the 4 walks through it.
"Ah Pepino and his brothers, I expected to see you guys." Hueso said, while the turtles get settled in their usual booth.
"I'm gonna go but I'm letting you guys know that we have a new waiter. Don't do anything to scare him away, especially you Pepino." The skeleton looked at Leo before walking away. About 10 minutes later a rabbit with his ears in a ponytail walks over with a notepad.
"Hello I'm Usagi Yuichi, you may call me Yuichi and I'll be your waiter for tonight. What can I get you guys?" The rabbit asked.
"we'll get one Hawaiian pizza," the blue one said. "I thought we agreed for pepperoni!?" Donnie spoke. Than the two bickered back and forward. The rabbit just stood there, not knowing if he should go or not.
"Guys stop with the middle children nonsense!" Raph told the twins. "We'll just get one pepperoni and one Hawaiian," Mikey said to the waiter. Yuichi nodded and wrote it down.
"I'll be back with your guys order" Than the rabbit walks away towards the kitchen. The four turtles just waited. In the meantime Leo decided to tell jokes, while the others didn't laugh, just annoyed.
"What's a pizza maker's favourite song?" "I don't know what?" "Slice slice baby!" The slider laughed at his own joke, but his brothers didn't find it funny.
There was a laughing coming near the turtles. Leo turned around to see the waiter who just came back with the two pizzas, laughing. "That's pretty good! Anyways here's one pepperoni and one Hawaiian pizza."
The turtle with the blue mask was stunned that someone actually found his joke funny. "Thank you!" Raph said to the fuzzy yokai. Yuichi just walks away.
*Time skip to the sewers*
The turtles barely got back home and Leo went to his room, flopping on his bed. He's not gonna sleep ofc, but he's just laying there. The slider went on his phone and watched videos on it. Eventually he actually did fell asleep to everyone's surprise.
Then he has a dream
*The dream I guess*
Leo was in complete darkness, he kept moving until he sees a light. He goes towards it and closer he got, he starts seeing a shadow form. The shadow is bulky and is kinda like some kind of yokai or maybe mutant. The slider decides to slowly approach the figure.
As he slowly approaches the figure, he hears it saying something.
"Am I dead? There's no way my family needs me and I haven't even got to apologize. Luck gotta be on my side now, please.." The voice choked.
The ninja was confused by some of the words by the figure. The closer he got, he starts to see the colors of this figure and realized it's another mutant turtle or maybe just a yokai with a blue mask like him. He just walks even closer and tries to speak out to the figure.
"Who are you?"
The person turns around,
"Another turtle? Interesting but to answer your question, I'm Leonardo Hamato and you are?"
Leo's jaw dropped. Another Leonardo Hamato!? It can't be, this is most likely a dream.
"Okay I'm in a dream, aren't I? Because I'm Leonardo Hamato and very handsome, but just call me Leo" he does a hair flip but instead of hair, it's with the tails of his mask.
"A dream? It's better than being dead I suppose, but I need to be awake right now. I can't just be sleeping at the situation I'm in"
"Well what's your situation?" The slider asked. At first the other turtle was hesitate on if he should explain or not, but he did. Leo's jaw drop.
"KARAI AS IN MY ANCESTOR!? This all has to be some kind of dream unless somehow your me from another universe and we're communicating while sleeping or something" Leo laughed a little because he sounds dumb.
Leonardo stood there for bit before speaking, "Mhm that could be a possibility."
"you know what I'm just gonna slap myself awake" and the slider slaps himself.

The slider sat up from his bed. 'That was a weird dream-' Leo thought to himself. Until he hears a voice that he recognizes from the dream.
"WHAT THE SHELL-"
