He could taste the metallic tang of his own blood before he felt the split in his lip, he staggered slightly, tongue testing the torn skin on the inside of his cheek before he spat out the stark red, watching it stain the concrete next to his attacker before wiping his mouth with the back of his hand that held the silver metallic gun, he grinned, something that spiked fear through the soon dead man as he tried pathetically to plead for his life.
His white undone button up shirt was now a dirty ashy grey, damn, this was one of his favorite shirts.. The yelp of the predator below him as he tried to scramble for purchase drew his attention back in, his eyes bore holes into the man before the bullets even struck the skin.
The markings that framed his eyes in two precise stripes were as red as the ground that the body now laid unmoving.
He kissed his teeth before pulling out his phone that laid in his back pocket of his denim jeans, he watched it glow and ring before the call was answered,

A separated AU where Splinter raised the turtles in an abandoned apartment for four years. Then Draxum found them and he had to make a hard choice, sacrifice one son for another.
Years later the “sacrificed” son S AKA Leo lives his life as a slave serving the Great Baron Draxum. He spends his days trying to complete impossible tasks, murdering whoever he’s ordered to, fighting for his life in the arena, receiving gruesome punishments for every small mistake and getting mixed up with all kinds of underground businesses like yokai trafficking, drugs, assassinations and of course prostitution.
Who would have thought that his life as a lowlife slave eventually lead him to his meddling hero brothers? But as much as Leo S would love to reconnect with his family, can a crook like him ever belong with a bunch of heroes?
This fic is inspired by Shattered_ontheInside 's Where Loyalties Lie !!!!

But it was everyone else who was wrong. Raph was the only one who was living in reality.

_________________It's been two years since Leo's disappearance. The city has erected a monument in Bryant Park to honor and mourn New York's bravest young hero.
While Leo's statue sits in the park, Raph sits in therapy. Everyone believes Raph is too traumatized, too wounded to process the loss of his brother.
But there's something Raph can't explain, something only he can feel, something everybody wants him to ignore. It whispers softly somewhere in the deepest corners of his mind: he's still here.
