Chapter Text
“Okay, demonic activity in North Carolina. I get that. What I don’t get is why you want us to check it out right now?” Dean spoke, eyes mostly on the road ahead.
“Because it’s our kind of thing?”
“No, no, I get that. But what makes this so urgent that you wanted to leave pretty much immediately?”
Sam shrugged and looked out the passenger side window. “I just have a bad feeling about it.” He turned back to Dean. “I mean, demons? We haven’t seen them around for months now, and suddenly omens are popping up all over the state? But none of the usual spike in random violence? It seems too coordinated, don’t you think?”
Dean tilted his head from side to side. “Whatever you say. I’m always down to gank some black eyed bitches.”
A small smile appeared on Sam’s face, and he muttered a simple, “Yeah, me too,” before turning back to the window and closing his eyes for a moment.
