Work Text:
Anna can't tell the difference between dreams and reality sometimes. Carol appears before her and Rogue feels the guilt, like always. She hurt Carol.
Carol stands before her and tells her it's okay. It has to be a dream, right?
"I'm sorry," Anna says.
"It's okay," Carol says.
Carol steps closer and Anna is scared of hurting her again. But then Carol touches her and it's okay.
"It's okay," Carol says again. "I know you are worried."
Anna knows she won't ever get to touch Carol without a barrier. Her touch has ruined enough. But she can appreciate this closeness.
