Kate is the sunshine after the rain. She's the light that Yelena has been looking for. She's pretty and witty and Yelena likes her. Yelena likes her, even when they are technically on opposite sides. It almost doesn't matter. Yelena wants to be around Kate all the time. Yes, Yelena has a mission, but after. After there is Kate and Kate is the goodness Yelena craves. She was not supposed to get a crush on this quirky brunette but she did. And she doesn't mind. Kate is very likable and Yelena wants to like people now that she's free to.
