"WylaAAH-"
Jesper stumbles through the door, nearly falling face flat on the ground. Making wylan raise an eyebrow.
"Wylan, have you tried hot chocolate before? It is the best thing in the entire world! You have to try it oh my saints!!"
Jesper looked as if he's about to take off like fireworks, exitement not being able to be contained. His cheeks were flushed from the cold outside combined with the running he's obviously done. Wylan loved everything about it and him.
"Jes, I know being hyperactive is your thing, but are you alright? You look as if you've eaten 12 sugar cubes."
"Oh, Wylan I am more than alright, I feel like I might explode but in the best way ever!"
Wylan knew that feeling all too well, adrenaline rushing through his veins like lightning. He's rambled to Jesper for hours on end about random things, butterflies, and mostly chemistry.
Jesper snatched Wylan’s hand,
"C'mon we've got to go!"
"Wait let me finish my equation I-"
"Nope! This is much more important. We're going now."
Wylan rolled his eyes. Jes knew he wasn't actually mad because he was grinning like a toddler who just did something naughty.
"Okay, but let me atleast grab my coat before you drag me out into the cold,"
They walk downstairs, not forgetting to pet their new member of the family Patrick Van Sunshine, a ginger cat that had followed Jesper into the house. The cat purred happily as Wylan scratched itbehind its ear. Wylan grabbed his coat, some gloves and a scarf.
"Wylan."
"Yes?"
"That's my coat."
"No it isn't."
"Yes it is! My name's even on it!"
"Can't read and don't care. It's mine now." Wylan said with a smug smile.
And Jesper shot Wylan a fake pout in response,
"What am I supposed to wear then? I don't have the money for a new coat!"
Wylan hummed as he replied. "Guess you'll just have to hold your boyfriend extra close."
"Mmm okay then."
Jesper wrapped his arms around Wylan and snuggled him close as he pressed a kiss into his forehead.

It was around late afternoon, and you could see pink and orange clouds in the sky. The autumn leaves crunched as they walked, their breaths condensating as they talked.
"Do you know why our breaths look like fog when it's cold outside?"
Jesper didn't know, nor understand but he gladly let Wylan rant about it. He loved listening to Wylan, to his sweet voice, no matter what his boyfriend talked about.
Jesper twirled Wylan around while he hummed a tune. Wylan tripped and Jesper saved him just in time. Wylan giggled, it made his chest bloom with warmth and there was no sound he loved more in the entire universe. Jesper wished he could stay in this moment forever, lock it up in a necklace and wear it until the end of his days.
They café was cozy, lit with candles and blankets on every chair. Jesper ordered two hot chocolate's for them.
"So what did you order exactly?"
"Hot chocolate, its melted chocolate with warm milk!"
The mugs were steaming as they were set on the table.
Jesper, physically bouncing off his seat quickly grabbed to take a sip,,, and burnt his tongue.
"Jes, tell me you didn't just burn your tongue." Wylan chuckled, "You can see its steaming?!"
In response Jesper stuck his middle finger up to him.
Wylan grabbed the other mug and gave it a sniff. He enjoyed the mug warming his hands and took a small sip.
"All the saints."
"I know right."
"How much sugar is in this?!"
"I have absolutely no clue but probably a lot!"
Wylan blew some of the steam off and took another sip, letting his tongue explore the taste. He didn't know how Jesper had found this but he decided it was now his new favourite thing in the entire world.
"Jesper Fahey you were absolutely right, this was indeed more important than the equation I was writing down."
They chatted over everything and nothing as they drank their hot chocolate and even ordered another one. Wylan didn't know if either of them were going to be able to sleep tonight but didn't mind, because nothing mattered more than seeing Jesper, his boyfriend, the love of his life, happy.
