Stanley discovers a new route. A new hallway, that the Narrator is begging him to not go down. More and more doors start appearing, clearly trying to confuse him. One of these doors is the one he's not supposed to go through. It proves to be difficult as a few of the doors have dangerous fates behind them. Eventually Stanley finds the door when Narrator isn't paying attention. He enters the Narrator's office. The Narrator looks human but something is wrong.
+++
Stanley is sad in the corner of the room with two doors. The Narrator is confused why Stanley is acting this way. He asks and it takes a while for Stanley to answer. He signs that he is lonely and wants someone to love. The Narrator can't understand this human feeling exactly. He goes to search it up, he finds a bunch of articles about your soulmate and shit like that.
He finds that he seems to have been having a human emotion for Stanley. He reads of what he should do. Stanley's sadness isn't exactly gone but he is super confused about the Narrator's actions now.
+++
Stanley is an actor. He's recently gotten divorced, moving on to a new movie. The movie is about a office worker in a time loop with a voice narrating what his character does. His character is named Stefan. He gets to hang out with the Narrators actor a good bit. [-Pick any name you want to replace the narrators name cause this is a actor au so uh....]. The two get pretty close by the time the movie finally premieres.
The movie gets a large number of fans. One thing that is agreed among the fanbase is that the Narrator and Stefan were a good bit homoerotic. The actors of such characters are not far behind. They're having very romantic longing stares, pretty much dinner dates, and any romantic thing you can think of.
They do end up dating.

Notes:
Ah sorry it was so short. This fandom can be hard to write for so I understand why there isn't like thousands of fanfics.
Chapter 2
Notes:
Nothing like listening to goth music while writing about two little sillies

A child accidentally ends up in the parable. Narrator is confused while Stanley tries to calm the child. This is a interesting journey, especially since the Narrator won't traumatize a small child who doesn't even understand that anything here could be a possible danger.
The kid then starts complaining, wanting to see the Narrator instead of just hearing him. Narrator warns the child that he is scary. The child refuses and throws a tantrum. Narrator can't have the parable be destroyed like this, he has to agree to show himself.
He finally comes out, the two humans are met with a beyond compression entity. The child strangely isn't bothered, Stanley on the other hand is scared out of his skin. He gets used to it, promise.
Now the parable is holding the Narrator and his dear family.
+++
Stanley has lucid dreams often. These ones however are bizarre. He keeps hearing this voice called Narrator. This Narrator acts as if Stanley has known him since forever. Yet he can't pin this voice down to anyone he knows.
This dream returns each night to torment him. He wonders if he's pissed off a god. Surely that's the answer. But no it's not, particularly. He didn't piss off a god, it's just that he was accidentally in that god's sight at the wrong time.
Then he notices he can't wake up. The Narrator explains that he can't have Stanley leave anymore. Simply cause the real world is affecting the test. Who knows if he'll ever be let out again.
+++
The Stanley parable but from the point of view of the bucket. The thoughts the bucket has on Stanley and the Narrator. That's literally it.
+++
Stanley is trying to find a book for his friend. This book has to do with supernatural entity's. He is trying to hurry because he needs to get back to his wife. He thinks he has the right book and leaves.
While driving he lays something on the book, the book then causes Stanley's vision to go completely white. The car crashes into the nearby trees and Stanley vanishes.
Everyone mourns Stanley and his dissapearence has caused many conspiracy theories online. The actual truth to Stanley's dissapearence is that he accidentally summoned Narrator. A strange creature that seems to have no real intention.
Narrator has seen the theories online and decides to play with these humans a bit while also making sure his protagonist is doing what he needs to. Or, something at least.
Narrator leaves small things for the case crazy humans to find. He wants them to believe it was cryptids or aliens. Maybe both. He has a struggle with some of these humans not doing the thing as it was intended.
Two years fly by and Stanley returns. The reason he returns is because Narrator felt bad. Stanley is found in the woods near where he originally crashed. People would think that all the strangeness of the case would be gone. Yet it definitely hasn't.
Stanley won't talk. He uses sign language to interact. He won't get near his wife, the errors keep lining up. Stanley is fine with himself, Narrator is visiting him in his dreams. He will have to get that wife outta here.
+++
Stanley is a deity of choice. Narrator is a much more powerful deity than Stanley. Narrator has two domains, time and stories. Narrator finds Stanley to be a deity that's useful. He believes that Stanley was meant for him.
+++
Stanley is given headphones and a device that plays music. He can keep it so long as he moves along the story correctly. The Narrator can hear Stanley's music. The choices were normal at first, then it got questionable. The music started being the more adult type music. Stuff a child shouldn't hear because it's downright filthy.
Narrator couldn't stand it much longer, he cut Stanley's music off completely. Stanley was pretty peeved considering he found nothing wrong with the music. Stanley then decided in protest of the music being taken, he would say some very not appropriate things to his Narrator.

-I put warnings in the beginning of ideas in case of triggers or if it's smut.-

[Stannarrator smut, might be dubious consent]
Stanley is being really bratty and Narrator has decided to do something a little different to make Stanley listen.
That difference being scaring him so bad he'll probably have a heart attack. Narrator needs practice for horror stories anyhow. For a couple of loops he chases Stanley down in the most terrifying form he has lying around. He still isn't quite sure how it escalated into what it did.
Stanley ended up pinned to the wall. Even as he stopped to comprehend what he's doing, it escalated. Things got steamy. He distances himself a bit from Stanley after that. Simply gathering his emotions, the emotions that couldn't be put perfectly back into their specific jars.
+++
Narrator is bored. How he is bored he couldn't know. In won't change the fact he can barely try narrating the story. And he loves the story! Yet his own mind is stopping him from this.
He takes Stanley along with him to different games again. They spend much more time in them than the last time. Narrator learns to build something other than dirt houses in Minecraft.
+++
Narrator is a maladaptive daydreamer. He constantly has the story of the parable with him. A side effect of all this is that he starts having feelings for Stanley. Stanley is not real. He can't love Stanley like that when he's not real.
+++
Labyrinth 1986 AU. The bucket is Toby while the goblins are a bunch of Adventure lines. Mariella as Ludo. Curator as Hoggle. Timekeeper/432 as Sir Didymus.
- I love Labyrinth so fucking much! Besides the fact that I wished every fandom had a Labyrinth AU, I think there is some similarities between Jareth and Narrator somehow.-
+++
Narrator is a small ghost like figure that follows Stanley around. Stanley is touchstarved and keep trying to touch his Narrator. Yet his body just fazes straight through the Narrator.
Time in the parable is uncanny, still it moves. Stanley's birthday comes up. As a present Narrator finds a way to allow Stanley to touch him as he pleases.
[You could totally turn that into something sexual.]
