Summary
Mickey Milkovich knew that he was just an object that could be sold and used. He was a nobody. He was only four years old when Terry sold him. He was twenty six when he was sold the last time.
The fiction happens after the third World War, where the society is made from the three groups of people: The riches, the untouchables and the slaves. The slaves are the people who were sold or taken away from the streets by the law that states that the people who are homeless could be used as property of the government. Mickey is one of the slaves who, once again, end up in the slave house at the age of twenty six. He is trying to navigate through the world and trying to survive the games in order to become free.
