Chapter Text
Luz felt like the air was being sucked out of her, her hands were trembling, her heart was beating faster than the speed of light, and she was sweating bullets even though she was cold.
"Alright, I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna tell her, today." Luz murmured to herself to calm herself down, but that only made her more nervous, "OhmygodIneedtotellhertoday." She stopped pacing back and forth when she heard the door open to reveal Amity standing in the doorway.
"Are you okay, Luz? You look pale." Amity asked, "Yeah, yeah I'm fine, just a little nervous." Luz answered, "A little? I can practically see your heart beating out of your chest! Luz, please, tell me what's wrong." "I need to tell my mom that I'm bi." "...What." Luz then realized she forgot to tell Amity about anything relating to coming out.
"Oh right, I haven't mentioned anything about that yet. Okay, so uh, you know how in the Demon Realm witches and demons don't need to tell people who they are or who they like?" Luz said, "Yes, why?" Amity asked, "Well, here it's a bit different: We have this thing called 'coming out' where someone who isn't straight or cis tells people that they're not straight or cis." "But, but why?" Now Amity is even more confused, "I uh, I actually don't know, I think it might have something to do with homophobia." "Huh, is that why you're so nervous?" "Yeah, I'm not sure how my mom would react." "Is there any way I can help?" Luz ponders for a bit, "Yeah, there is."
