Hermione Granger had memory issues as a result of the torture that she had experienced throughout the Second Wizarding War, especially at the Battle of Malfoy Manor. Draco Malfoy was the saving grace when it came to her memory issues. She was so thankful for her boyfriend every single day of her life. He didn't have to be the saving grace in her life but Draco was, he stuck by her through whatever hit them. He was the most helpful when it came to helping her through every day. He always repeated the same five sentences whenever he could because it helped her to remember. Hermione Granger was sunshine personified. She was a light glowing in a clear glass bottle. She was the Golden Girl. She was like a shot of espresso. Hermione Granger was like being bathed in the sunlight.

"Who are you?" Hermione woke with a start as she stared at the blond man that was sleeping beside her in bed. She was covered heavily in a cold sweat as she moved away from the man that she didn't recognise. Panic moved through her body as she clutched her Mudblood-scarred arm and leapt out of the bed, finding her wand, and searching for anything she could use against this man. Her breathing was growing heavier and heavier like she was having a panic attack that wasn't in control and was spiralling out of control as she kept searching for something to defend herself. "Who are you?" She screamed, her voice ringing out as she finally grabbed her wand and pointed it out in front of her, her hand shaking and shuddering as she stared at the blond man. "Please, who are you?" She pushed the wand into his chest, her voice wavering with fear.
"I'm Draco Malfoy. Your boyfriend. And you are Hermione Granger. You are sunshine personified. You are a light glowing in a clear glass bottle. You are the Golden Girl. You are like a shot of espresso. You are what it feels like being bathed in the sunlight." Draco slowly stepped into the wand touch as he gently grabbed her hand, slowly lowering the wand and Hermione's hand. "Can you repeat back what I just said, my darling? I'm Draco Malfoy, your boyfriend. We have been dating since our sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. You are Hermione Granger, the Golden Girl. You are sunshine personified. You are a light glowing in a clear glass bottle. You are the Golden Girl. You are like a shot of espresso. You are what it feels like being bathed in the sunlight." He spoke the words as clearly as possible, in a calming tone of voice as they sat back down together on their bed. Draco nodded as he stroked his thumb across her hand, rubbing out all of the blinding white-coloured tension, Hermione slowly nodded before clearing her throat. The panic slowly drained out of her face and her breathing slowed down to a normal pace.
"You are Draco Malfoy, my boyfriend. We have been dating since our sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I am Hermione Granger, the Golden Girl. I am like sunshine personified. I am like a light glowing in a clear glass bottle. I am the Golden Girl. I am like a shot of espresso. I am what it feels like being bathed in the sunlight." Hermione repeated back, swallowing heavily, gulping down the saliva in her mouth, before starting again. I am what it feels like being bathed in the sunlight." She repeated once again, nodding to herself as she stated every single sentence. Hermione needed to say it once more. One more time. I am what it feels like being bathed in the sunlight." Hermione whispered, more for herself than for Draco.
"Let's go back to bed." Draco grabbed Hermione's hand more securely before moving the two of them back into the bed, cuddling her body closer towards him. "That was a big one." He muttered quietly. "But we can do this, like always. Always and forever, remember." Draco muttered into Hermione's hair as he held her close and his long arms stayed wrapped around her body.
"Always and forever." Hermione nodded against his chest, lightly peppering kisses against the naked skin. "Always and forever, me and you." She smiled sadly. She knew that as soon as she woke up again in a few hours they'd been having the same conversation. Draco reminded her who she was. Hermione had to repeat the words back at him. It was a constant cycle. Every day. Every time she needed sleep. Hermione had tried not sleeping but turned out that had made everything one hundred times worst. So, she had to sleep and sleep as much as she could to stop herself from falling deeper but then she had to live with the repetition of who she was and who Draco was.

The sunshine was blinding as Draco helped Hermione into the garden before they sat down together on an emerald green tartan blanket. She had been muttering to herself since waking back up from her nap, everything was being repeated as they sat down together. Food was covering the picnic blanket and Draco bought a glass of pumpkin juice close to his lips, gulping quietly before passing a glass towards Hermione. She regretted the drink, pushing away the glass and continued on with her mutterings.
"You are Draco Malfoy, my boyfriend. We have been dating since our sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I am Hermione Granger, the Golden Girl. I am like sunshine personified. Hermione repeated to herself, drawing patterns in her trousers with her finger as she continued her muttering.
"Love, it's okay," Draco placed his hand over hers, stopping the movement. "I love you. I love you so, so, so much, Hermione Jean Granger. Forever and always remember. Always us together." He nodded as he leaned closer and peppered kisses against her face.
"Always and forever." Hermione nodded back, kissing Draco.
"It doesn't matter how many months and years we have to go through the same thing every day, I am always going to support you Hermione and help you remember as much as you can. It will always be us two together, through everything." He promised her, holding her hand and resting them between their bodies as the muttering continued from Hermione.

Hermione repeated to herself, over and over again, closing her eyes as the words sunk into her skin and the atmosphere around them.
Draco replaced the photographs and memories into the box before sliding the item towards Hermione, allowing her to look through and read everything that he had placed there. It was the couple's only way of helping Hermione with her memory issues.
