Work Text:

Memories of his childhood were full of strife and hardship. Though he can't remember much it was when he turned four that was when his mother had a mental breakdown.

The stories are still told today. The neighbors had simply heard screeching in the middle of the night and called the cops. Only to find Inko speaking gibberish.

His father wasn't home either and it was concluded she had a meltdown that had been building up. Izuku had been found hiding under the couch near Inko's collapsed form. She has since stayed in the hospital's psych ward no longer able to speak coherently.

His father... Was barely home. If anything Izuku isn't sure if he was ever home his memories have become such a fog. Drifting from day to day.

It wasn't the only incident that occurred with him. Many others have seemed to have fallen victim to Izuku's presence despite him never intending so.

Bullies that wished to tease him because of his lack of 'quirks' were suddenly driven to extreme behavior. Screaming, profanities, convulsions, the works.

Izuku is left horrified as a classmate one day was teasing him and the next was not an irrational mess. Screaming.

He is coming! He is here! RUN! RUN! RUN!

And all Izuku can't help but wonder is... Why? Why always him? Who is he? And why is 'he' so intent on making him miserable?

Tonight was no different. The whole apartment felt so loud taking deep breaths as he kept his eyes closed.

Alone. He's always completely alone wondering if he even has a father at all as if never seen him.

Yet people claim he exists. His mother claimed he existed and yet never did he see him. Hisashi Midoriya's only evidence is the food that seemed to magically appear in his home.

Because of this Izuku is starting to think the man was the reason his mother was taken away.

...The house is breathing again. At certain times of the night, he can feel as if the walls are moving.

"It's not real," he whispers as the walls creak and moan the bed seeming to lift and fall as he shuts his eyes. Like always whatever is moving would stop and then just disappear like a dream. A very bad dream.

Then something touches his head.

It's cold. Slick and unnatural eliciting a terrified noise from the young boy as he slinks away.

"Oh... You poor thing you still aren't ready..." A deep voice coos softly and despite the fact made it clear didn't want to be touched. The 'thing' could be felt on him the gross and slick feeling that he doesn't recognize was too much.

Izuku opened his eyes wondering who was in his house-.

Only to be greeted by nothing.

Nothing but a dark room and the sound of his heavy breath... If only he didn't still feel the slick on his head and the voice that rang in his ear.

Another day. Another sleepless night.

That morning he wondered if he was always going to be alone. Getting up, brushed his teeth, and noted the taste of copper in his mouth and the dark shadows in the corner.

Ignore that. You're fine just like always.

"Why do you ignore me?" A voice trills in the room as it seems to get darker causing Izuku to tense. He was behind him.

"Y-You're aren't real," Izuku moves his hands to grip the sink scared to look up at the mirror. The copper taste in his mouth seemed to grow as some spittle fell out.

Blood.

"My boy... You can't run away forever," the voice coos as if daring him to lift his head. To see who has been visiting him at night and touching him when he wishes to sleep. Able to feel its appendage move up his spine.

"L-Leave me alone," Izuku whispers. There is silence the touch still there invading his space and a part of him wonders... If this entity is the true cause of his mother's disappearance.

He lifts his head... Nothing. Nothing but his reflection. He was normal with dark green hair and green eyes. Some freckles and a youthful face, the only odd thing is the blood in his mouth. It seems he bit his tongue hard and somehow didn't realize it.

With that tho it was as if none of the things he experienced that night ever happened washing out the blood in his mouth. School in itself was... Boring and uneventful if he ignores the teasing of his classmates.

You see everyone has quirks. They get them at four and while everyone got cool quirks all he got was his mother being sent to the hospital.

So now is known as both quirkless and is accused of having a psycho mom. A terrible combo but he lived with it.

He had no heroes, and his aspirations were crushed even more every day.

"Stop looking at me," Kacchan sneers at him from in front. Izuku shrinks as he is reminded that he is in class right now.

It would be so easy to assimilate him. His powers are child's play.

There's a sense of dread. Able to feel something underneath his desk brushing against his leg wondering if was going insane. Tendrils slowly moved down his leg toward the floor it was so wet and gross why is no one saying anything!?

"GAAH-!" Izuku jumps up onto his feet and of course, nothing is there despite the fact this had felt so real.

"Midoriya! Sit back down," the teacher shouts at him making Izuku shrink a bit as he goes back to sit.

"S-Sorry," Izuku shrinks able to hear Kacchan snicker at him.

Fine, we will wait just a bit longer then this isn't forever little one. Soon you will remember who you belong to.

...Then it seemed to disappear. No evidence of the entity that had haunted his house nor did the house seem to breathe anymore.

He was able to live relatively normal if he could ignore the whole quirkless thing. Though he did fail to get into UA's heroes division it was normal.

Everything was fine.

Everything WILL be fine! UA was safe, there were heroes and powerful people here that could save him.

My boy, you don't need saving.

There was no warning when it happened as if some kind of interdimensional thing had just grabbed the school and transported them to some hellscape. The sky seemed to have turned red and of course, they learned a very quick rule.

Don't Look Outside.

The ones that looked outside would start screaming and become incoherent usually collapsing... But that wasn't the scary part.

Their eyes seemed to have melted from their skulls and many of the heroes were quick to board up all the windows. The 'incoherent' victims were sent to the nurses... But Izuku gets the feeling none of them survived it.

"We have no idea what has happened! It is our suspicious a villain with a psychological related quirk is here but stay calm we are working on a solution," Midnight was the one that had helped herd the General course students with the heroes course.

Unfortunately, there weren't many. Seems having an LOT of windows is kind of a detriment when looking outside seems to MELT your brain and eyes.

"Professor what are we supposed to do? How long will this take!?" One of his classmates questioned loudly what everyone was thinking.

"If it a villain with a quirk we will find them!" Present Mice said with confidence, "Just stay close together and those in the heroes course that got their license keep your fellow classmates safe!"

...They had been there for a day.

And that is when the real danger seemed to have emerged.

------

"Run!"

How could all the heroes have died?! A giant mass of tentacles had broken into the building cracking the barrier that had been put up with ease.

So many were scooped up. So many were taken.

And he's alone. So very much alone-

"Stop crying! The hell you grabbed me for!?" Kacchan shouted, except for him of course. Izuku trembles as if they were stuck in some closet that he had to drag this idiot into.

"Because you were about to try and fight that thing!" Izuku shouted, wondering why he chose the other out of everyone. Reaching out he wants to assure him, "Please Kacchan just wait here eventually-"

Katsuki smacks his hands away the burning in his hand made Izuku hiss as the male stepped away, "Oh so you can have a crack at revenge against me!? I ain't stupid!"

Revenge? Is the other delusional?

"Revenge? What the hell gives you that idea!?" Izuku questioned feeling a bit ruffled when he had saved the other's lives! "Look we don't have time. There might be others-"

"You're the only danger here, you psycho! YOU LITERALLY HOSPITALIZED PEOPLE!" Katsuki shouts those red eyes staring at him with clarity as Izuku registers his words slowly letting them settle in.

"So?" the words came out quicker than he expected almost startled. His hands moved to his throat as he looked at the male staring at him, "Wait no- I mean what are you talking about!? I didn't do anything!"

There's no point in pretending. He knows.

"K-Kacchan please just listen," Izuku just wants for once a chance to prove himself to the other. Reaching out toward the other the male's expression changed to horror.

"Get away from me! Stop acting like you didn't do shit!" Katsuki shouts and it felt like the room shifted from this dark red-colored hellscape. Tentacles slowly come in from the walls that he can't seem to see.

One went for the throat. Katsuki didn't seem to see it coming as it wraps around the teen and slams him down. Letting out a gargled cry as Izuku is frozen in place.

"K-Kacchan!" He shouts watching the male attempt to blast the appendage. Izuku feels something like heat burning on his hand wincing. He needs to do something, he needs to help him!

"Oh?" A voice coos out fondly as it tightens its grip on Bakugou.

Then a familiar sensation returned the slick and uncomfortable touch that slides around his body holding him in place. Earning a yelp as it tightens just enough so he can't struggle.

It squeezes as Bakugou struggles and chokes the burning sensation felt stronger. Izuku is breathing heavily as he watches the other gasp for air. Those eyes dilating as kicks and thrash on the floor...

It took Izuku too long to realize the reason his hand was burning was that it was his hand around the other's neck. No one else's as if whatever mental block had finally given way to reality as his hand squeezed tighter and tighter from the pain.

"Why couldn't you just accept me, Kacchan?!"

Izuku cries knowing he was stupid to think otherwise when he had made it clear since his youth that he wanted nothing to do with him.

The delusions his mind had created of some lost dimension vanished as corpses littered around him. The warmth of the other's neck against his palm as his grip tightened noting the burns seemed to disappear. His thumb moving to press against the male's adam apple as he sneers as tears falls down his face.

The tentacle gently moves up and down his back in an 'almost' caring motion. Tighter and tighter he squeezed watching as Katsuki's eyes rolled into the back of his head as he finally lacked the oxygen to stay conscious...

And a satisfying snap was his reward.

"You remember the purpose of your birth?" The entity speaks to him in that low deep rumble that speaks of ancient times. Tongues that he shouldn't at all understand directly into his mind as he stares at his former childhood friend's corpse.

The entity is directly behind or maybe it's better to say is all around him as well as inside of him. Moving under his skin pulsing slowly making the whole place breathe but this time Izuku isn't afraid... He remembers.

He remembers the knife his mother had as she tries to console him after weird things started happening to his body. Dark visions as his body seemed to be too small with something so large inside. Going to his mother for help as it hurt so badly.

The way her eyes widened in absolute horror. She realized the child that she had birthed was not at all human as something seemed to move under Izuku's skin.

Being picked up in her arms as she coos at him with tears as she goes into the kitchen to grab something he couldn't see. Before she began to sob.

"I'm sorry! I'm so sorry Izuku please forgive your mother! I can't let him take you!" She had been crying as she hugged him while holding a knife to his back. He hugged his mom back unaware of this only to feel a strong pain as it hit his back.

His whole body convulsed and he screamed in a voice he could not recognize as his wound sprung out appendages that lashed out—flinging his mom across the room as she screams.

"No-! Izuku I'm sorry! I didn't mean too-!" Inko shouted... But then the room had turned red and all that remained was screaming. Tortured screams permeated the walls as he repaid what she had done.

...He was the monster that hurt his mother and those kids had been his next.

"I remember... Dad," Izuku whispers as it feels like everything had become insignificant.

So small and worthless as he slowly removed his hand from Kacchans throat. He wasn't as bad as he had thought...

"Let us clean up this mess... You still aren't ready," it coos softly as the appendages stroke his head and back. Delighting in this realization even as Izuku felt hollow it careens all over his body and coos with glee almost possessive.

"There are still so many other followers to lead astray. Your eyes are still clouded by your delusions but for your sanity I will allow it. Let us feast," said the entity. His father didn't leave a single body remaining.

-------------

Despite seeming like it had been transported to another realm it seemed humanity had been unbothered. The only thing appearing on the news is how many of the students and teachers have disappeared seemingly overnight.

But not all of them...

After all, it seemed many had gone on a trip. As Izuku returns to school he finds himself staring at a group of those on the hero course.

Red and white hair. The son of a top hero and his daddy issues make him blind to everything but what he wishes to hear.

A perfect ambassador. He smiles.

"Hey! I'm Izuku Midoriya, do you want to be friends?" he speaks as he can already see his father approving of his choice shadowing the male's shoulders. As Shoto looked at him with surprise and confusion unaware of why he was approached.

There is just so much to do for the end. But he might as well enjoy it, right?

Notes:

Izuku ending up as an eldritch offspring is a trope I adore. There is no happy ending here tho he is entirely under his father's thrall and aware he can't escape. I have many ideas on this verse I like to share!

Side information!

The world is very much based on the canon universe thus quirks and everything! However, All for One is an eldritch god and so is his 'little brother'.

This means there is no 'passing' of the quirks or anything but there is an idea that all for one is the one that 'gave' quirks as a dream. Dreaming of heroes and villains.

There is no All Might since the brothers aren't quirked humans so Japan was always a bit dangerous even if not insanely so it had more of a cult epidemic.

All for One is called A'forne it is meant to be pronounced almost intelligibly. A'forne, The One Who Claims All.

Inko ended up in a cult when she tried to infiltrate it for information. Instead got caught and she was 'sacrificed' aka impregnated with their god's spawn.

She ran away but had thought and assumed she had been raped in denial of what happened nor able to comprehend what had happened. She kept the baby despite her better judgment and tried to raise him alone until he began to exhibit traits that he was NOT human.

Hisashi Midoriya never existed but was a 'form' that A'forne took that was implanted in the minds around Izuku to keep others away. Not about to have another person realize Izuku's inhumanity before he is ready.

Izuku not only was the one that drove his mom insane he was the one that had 'attacked' his bullies. His presence is so strong it has basically warped people's perceptions.

Because he is part human he can't at all even comprehend himself and thus blocks most oddities to protect himself. X-rays would not show his insides, also if they were to open him up for surgery the doctors would be attacked by horrific tentacles and teeth in Izuku's body. You saw a bit when he was stabbed it's... Very body horror the more injured he gets.

Izuku's purpose is to be a conduit for his father's awakening. Also in a sense IS his own father because he is part of the hive mind.

Thus why ends with him simply accepting the loss of his sense of self... He is his father's son.

And despite teleporting the school many did escape because many hero students were on a class trip and he is now fully embracing his role as a dark messiah to herd the lost sheep toward his father after this tragedy.

Hope you enjoyed it! It's nice to try something new and there is companion pieces to be made that will bring a lot more 'Information' about this universe~
