Summary
The wolves run in the night, through thick bushes and protruding thorns. They run fast, never stopping, not even to rest or scan for possible game, not slowing down even as the ground turns gravelly, mercilessly stabbing at their delicate paws. Only when morning dew lies heavy on the tips of their muzzles, do they finally pause, near the edges of a tranquil crystal lake marking the edges of their territory.
