   Summary

   Aesop Sharp is an ex-auror who was forced to retire and start a life of teaching due to a debilitating injury incurred in battle. His long, fruitless search for a cure is finally wearing down at his hope. Somehow, in between struggling to balance teaching at Hogwarts, looking for a cure for his injury, and managing his chronic pain, he grows to care for a new student who started in her fifth year. Little does he know that this mysterious girl holds the only key to healing.
