In a modern universe in the future Twili Robotics creates well, robots! Technician leader Daphnes and his team create unique robots for varying functions. His latest and brand new success being that of the learning ai called "V10l37" or Violet.
His adopted son Shadow, brilliant mind that he is, really doesn't like the projects so much. There's too much that could wrong with it. or too much right in the wrong direction. Until he sees them. Violet. An intriguing impossibility running and talking outside of their baseline programming that is only growing by the second. As a neural mechanical technician this makes him more than a little curious about what's going on inside that brain. They both end up with a a lot more than they bargained for.
