Summary
This is The Sphere. It’s about a billion miles north of Midgard, and another billion miles south of Helheim. It’s located squarely in the constellation of “kill me now, please”. Activities include dying in horrific and gory fashion, fighting for your life, cowering in horrified terror, and anything else that you could feasibly do within the confines of a massive, inescapable, biomechanical alien torture-plex. In three words; an absolute nightmare.
Needless to say, nobody wants to be here. Unfortunately, nobody here really got a choice.
See that naked runt who just woke up to find himself up to his neck in disgusting yellowish-green fluid and trapped in a dark, wet, unsettlingly fleshy pit? That’s me, Hiccup. Great name, I know.
Oh, and see that dragon over there, stuck in the pit with me and trapped under that pile of scrap metal? That’s a Night Fury, the unholy offspring of lightning and death itself and my soon-to-be best friend for life.
