So, I got this idea when I was thinking of a good crossover fic to write for Demon Slayer. Then I remembered a Fanfic.Net story that I read with a similar concept, Shinobu being reincarnated into MHA. I wanted to do something similar to this, though that fic and this one will be very different, just with similar concepts. I can’t for the life of me remember what it was called however so unfortunately I can’t send you in its direction.
Now, all original characters, places, things and ideas belong to me but all My Hero Academia characters, places, things and ideas belong to Kohei Horikoshi and all Demon Slayer characters, places, things and ideas belong to Koyoharu Gotouge.
As far as ships go for My Hero Academia I’m sticking to cannon, so Deku/Ochako, Denki/Jirou and so on. As far as Demon Slayer ships go you’ve read the tags so you know what those are.
When parentheses come up around words it means that the author, meaning me, is talking to you, the reader. I’ll be interrupting the story to share a fun fact or make a comment. However I won’t be interrupting the story a lot because I don’t want to mess with it’’s flow and destroy your immersion.
As far as POV’s (point of view) go’s the story will mostly be told from Shinobu’s perspective but at the beginning of the story it will be altering every other chapter to a different character who will be revealed later. After they meet it will mostly be told from Shinobu’s perspective but we will also sometimes cut to a third person perspective or another character’s pov.
POV changes,, location changes and time skips will be signified in bolded all capitals LIKE THIS. They'll also show up at the beginning of every Chapter so that you as the reader know where we're at in the story..
Now onto something very important. The Demon Slayer breathing styles actually make effects here. Thus Flame Breathing actually makes fire, Water Breathing actually makes water and so on and so forth. The decision to make the breathing styles just be illusions will forever be incredibly stupid to me. Tanjiro can literally smell feelings, Zenitsu can hear heart beats and Kanao can strain her eyes to make them basically the Demon Slayer equivalent of the Sharringan but the breathing style elements can’t be real???? Are you joking? Also we see multiple times in the show that the elements are saving the slayers' lives. Particularly in Rengoku’s fight with Akaza in Season 2 and Tanjirou’s fight with the Arrow Demon Yahaba from Season 1. Pretty much how I see the choice to make the Breathin Style’s illusions is this paraphrased quote from Nick Fury in the first Avengers movie--- “I recognize that the creator has made a decision and considering it’s a stupid ass decision I’ve elected to ignore it.”--- So yeah, the elements from Breathing Styles are real here, that is my stance.
Warnings for blood, swearing and violence. But you’re probably tough people so I think you can handle it.
Please leave reviews telling me what you did and did not like about the story and why. It really helps me out as an author to get more detailed reviews/comments because it shows me what I’m doing well at and what I need to work on improving in the future. If you can’t think of anything to say in a comment I’ll try and put questions for you to answer in my Endnotes just to help stir your brains a bit. Constructive criticism is welcome and highly appreciated, please just be polite about it.
Having said that, bullies are not welcome here and will not be tolerated so please just be nice to me and the other commenters when saying something. And thank you very much for choosing to read my story. It means a lot to me. The actual chapters should be coming out soon-ish. I have summer camp to get back to which takes up a lot of my schedule for the next two weeks so I might not be able to get chapters out quickly but I’ll do my best.
Having said that, uploads will be slow as I have no upload schedule, only write when I want to and have a bunch of other fanfics I’m also working on currently. But I’ll do my best to get things posted in a timely manner.
