Celebrating the new Couple

Married at last!

Garak and Bashir are sitting on a sofa behind a small table that has dates and two glasses of milk on it. Bashir has a hand on Garak's back and he is smiling. Amsha Bashir is tying a red bracelet onto Garak's wrist. Garak is looking at the bracelet. Garak is wearing a sparkly, pale yellow tunic. Bashir is wearing a red and gold tunic with a flower pattern.

By popular vote, Garak made both of their wedding outfits.

 

Notes:

I guess we all don't know what wedding traditions Europeans with a vast mix of Middle Eastern/South Asian/North African ancestors will have 300 years in the future, which made it hard to decide on how to represent Bashir culturally. Jirtig, from Sudan, seems like a fun tradition that would survive and be continued in some form, passed down over generations of an increasingly mixed family.
