No one chooses to have bad days, they just happen. Zoro knew this, he really did. He just didn't like it when it happens to him. So, he might've been snappy and overly grumpy with the crew, but he didn't mean it.
First, He broke his hammock. More like Luffy jumped on him while he was sleeping, and the weight snapped the string. Then when he went to work out, one of the weights fell off the bar and smashed his toe. When breakfast came, Usopp bumped into him when he was chewing and bit his tongue.
To top everything off, a migraine crept up and no matter what he did, it wouldn't let up. It just got worse with time.
That's when he began snapping at people, Zoro really tried to be patient, but the constant noise really tested that patience.
He knew it got bad when he barked a rude comment to Sanji. it wasn't like a normal playful insult; it was a comment that was plain rude. Thankfully Sanji let it slide, but Zoro still felt bad.
Zoro tried sleeping off the migraine, but of course that is when Luffy and Usopp catches a sea king and bring it on board. It got him all wet and the tail hit him a couple of times. The swordsman was just so done with this day. so... Zoro went to the quietest part of the ship, the back deck.

After dinner was made, Sanji got worried when he didn't notice Zoro coming in and grabbing his booze. The blond decided to go and find the Ball of Moss.
When the Cook didn't find him on the deck or his usual spots, he went to Zoro's secrete spot. Right there was the swordsman leaning against the ship with his arms folded behind his head. Sanji decided to speak,
"What is with you today?"
Zoro kept his eyes closed, trying to shake the pounding in his head,
"None of your business, Cook."
Sanji heard the snarl and instantly knew something was wrong. He guessed it when Zoro said a rude comment about him serving the ladies. Zoro felt Sanji get closer and heard the cook soften his tone,
"It is my business if my boyfriend is not feeling well."
Sanji kneeled down to where Zoro was sitting. The cook reached up and ran his fingers through Zoro's green hair. The results were instantaneous. Zoro leaned in and the Cook took that as a sign to sit down next to him. The swordsman changed his position, so his head was laying on Sanji's lap as the Cook continues running his hands in Zoro's hair.
The swordsman began to doze off, now feeling the migraine recede. Then a thought popped in his head,
"Don't you have to cook dinner?"
Sanji smiled but continued running his hands in the mossy hair,
"It's already made, I asked Robin if she could serve it. I figured you needed me more than the food."
Zoro felt his chest fill with warmth, he turned slightly and wrapped his arms around Sanji's waste. but Zoro felt the need to say one more thing,
"I don't need you."
Sanji smiled, hearing the soft tone of Zoro said that in. He knew instantly that Zoro was saying the opposite, always the difficult one never saying what he really meant.
"Of course you don't, Marimo"
The swordsman felt the air get cool. having the cool air combined with the soft sway of the ship, Zoro found it easy to fall asleep.
Before he finally dozed, he felt Sanji lean down and kiss his head,
"I love you, Moss-head."
Zoro smiled and mumbled,
'Love you too, Swirly brow."
With that said, the swordsman finally let himself get lolled to sleep.
Yeah, there are bad days. And yes, Zoro knows that they happen. He was just glad that he had someone to go too when he didn't want to handle them alone.
