Summary
All of the guilt and shame that has stacked up over the past few years seemed to wash away with just one pill. Fyodor had suggested this one to him– saying it was “completely safe” and “hardly recreational.” Though, now that Nikolai found himself floating in a state with the birds he loved for so long, he found himself craving more of this feeling.
Fyodor was soon floating with him, though his pupils weren’t nearly as dialated as Nikolai’s and he seemed much-more put together. “How are you feeling, Nikolai?” Fyodor had asked, though all his words were jumbled together and Nikolai was nearly frothing at the mouth with how much bliss he felt– floating with all the bird, not a care in the world, and also close to his dear friend.

Nikolai hears Fyodor has medicine that Ivan boasts makes him happy. So, he takes a visit to try it.
