Summary
After the revolution, Connor tried to distance himself from his old life. He got a job as a pole dancer, moved in with his boyfriend- an RK900 model named Milo, affectionately called Nines by his work partner Gavin Reed- and forgot about all he knew before. Then CyberLife, in an attempt to save face, began reactivating all androids they could find that were damaged or destroyed during the revolution. Connor didn't think much of it, but it would change his life forever.
Daniel didn't know what was so familiar about the eyes of the dancer on stage that night, but he was fascinated with him. Night after night, he watched, wondering if this dancer was the key to remembering who or what he was before. And maybe he would learn what the emotion he felt was called. So he watched, he followed, he learned all he could. This dancer was the key to everything, he was certain.
One longed to remember, the other to forget, but neither would get the luxury.
