But I don't want you to hide'
Breaking Sam out of the panic room was a order Castiel followed reluctantly. It was a foreign feeling to the angel. They were used to feeling nothing but a need to complete their tasks correctly. But now it was different. It had to do with them falling, they were sure of it. That didn't stop the... complicated emotions from completely overwhelming Castiel.
They were meant to be luring Anna out of hiding, they knew that. There was just something nagging at the angel's mind. They landed in a nice hotel room. It was a startling contrast to the normally run-down/dirty rooms Castiel was used to seeing the Winchesters in. Speaking of the Winchesters, Castiel's eyes landed on Sam. He was sitting on a nicely made bed, looking completely out of place against the cleanliness of the room.
The younger man was filthy Castiel noted dully. They advanced forward so they were stading tall above the tall man. The movement alerted Sam to their presence.
"What are yo-"
"I freed you out if the panic room." Castiel interrupted. Sam's eyes went wide.
"Why?"
Castiel hesitated to answer.
"What Dean and Bobby did was not right. Leaving you alone was not a smart move." The angel wasn't truly lying to the hunter. They were merely leaving the more... important details for later. Sam didn't look convinced, but Castiel didn't want to discuss the full truth.
'It's cold and loveless
I won't let you be denied'
"I know you are waiting on Ruby." Castiel said, changing the subject successfully.
"Why does it matter to you?"
"Because this will get you killed."
"So?"
"So," Castiel began through clenched teeth. They stopped to collect their words. "Never mind that. I am here to offer you something. An alternative if you will."
'Soothing. I'll make you feel pure
And trust me You can be sure'
Sam gave them a strange look. Castiel almost found the confusion adorable. The angel understood why Dean compared the younger Winchester to young dogs now. The angel exhaled sharply before removing their trench coat and rolling up their left sleeve. Sam looked even more confused then before, but stayed silent. Castiel summoned their angel blade and made a swift swipe across their inner elbow. The cut glowed light blue, they held their arm directly in front of Sam's mouth, offering the blood. Sam was obviously shocked. The angel fought against another heavy sigh and pressed their bleeding wound even closer to Sam's face, almost brushing the human's chapped lips.
'I want to reconcile the violence in your heart'
The younger Winchester finally caught on to what Castiel wanted him to do. He pulled Castiel's arm to his mouth. He licked up the blood running from the cut before he latched like a leach and began to drink from the angel's wound. Sam moaned softly at the feeling of his hunger being fulfilled. The angel bit back a moan of their own and let Sam indulge. After a mind numbing eternity the angel pulls their arm away from Sam's mouth and heals their wound. The hunter breathed heavily, panting, and all Castiel did was stare at the human.
'I want to recognize your beauty is not just a mask'
Sam regained his breath and sat up a little straighter. Castiel allowed their grace to wash over Sam, having it clean him. They exist in silence for a while. A sort of tension hanging in the air between them. Sam opened his mouth as if to say something, but Castiel cut him off with a harsh kiss. Sam let out a squeak of surprise, but in no time was quick to return the passion. His hands tangled in the front of Castiel's white button up. Sam tried to pull at the angel's shirt, a failed attempt at closer contact with the angel.
'I want to exorcise the demons from your past'
Sam has most likely forgotten all about Ruby showing up. Which is a more thrilling thought than it should be. An even more thrilling thought it Ruby sensed Castiel's presence with Sam and backed off, knowing she is no longer needed. The angel disregarded the slightly possessive thoughts and refocused on the beautiful human in front of them. They hold the kiss a short time longer before Sam broke away to breath. Castiel moves their face down lower and gently kissed at Sam's neck. They should leave, hell, they should have never come. But here they were, disrespecting direct orders. The angel found that they didn't care as much as they should.
