Summary
Lawrence grumbles. He knows. He knows that Adam could make a report about all of this. His wife and kid would find out. He’d lose his job. His life would be over. If he didn’t know Adam better, he wouldn’t discount that comment as merely a joke—but he knows Adam. He trusts Adam. He knows he has no reason to tell anyone than out of the will of his heart.
