Summary
The mission always came first, or so Aloy thought, until she is forced to face her own mortality, and realises that she wants to live life for herself.
After defeating the Zeniths once and for all, Aloy must now focus her attention on the ever-looming threat of the rogue AI known as NEMESIS. With little to no information about it, or how to defeat it, she and her friends continue with their mission that takes them across the Forbidden West.
Before they can even begin the first steps of their journey, a new enemy rears its ugly head, more deadly and cunning than anything they have faced before. With Aloy severely injured, and the gang scattered, it doesn't take long before this new threat gains the upper hand. Tensions rise as their trust in each other is put to the ultimate test, and Aloy faces the harsh reality, that she might not be able to finish what Elisabet started.
The maimed Marshall is the one constant, holding the group together and supporting Aloy in every way he can. But he too struggles, as feelings grow, it becomes harder and harder to put the mission first when the people he cares for, are the ones being hurt the most.
