Summary
During an invasion on Cornwall, Arthur discovers a boy called Emrys in the dungeon cells. He's beautiful enough, his little pink lips plump with fat. His skin rosy and milky pale under the grime. The boy is rather pitifully thin, and indicating signs of mistreatment with healing bruises on his neck and left cheek.
Arthur's nostrils fill with a weakened scent, almost like a hot, sweet pheromone. There's something about this boy. Something Arthur cannot quite put his finger on.
