Chapter Text
Happening between chapter 23 and 24 of the main Storyline..
"Merry Christmas Marinette!" Jon wished her as he approached Marinette and she smiled.
"Merry Christmas Jon" He beamed at her happily.
"Where is Damian?" She shook her head.
"I'm here" Damian spoke up from behind her and she jumped a bit, surprised.
"Merry Christmas Damian" He nodded.
"Hey! Why don't you say it back!"
"Merry Christmas" He said and turned towards Marinette.
"Merry Christmas Damian" He nodded, the tips of his lips lifting upwards.
"Merry Christmas Marinette" He replied and she beamed at him.
"Hey! Why didn't you say that back to me?!" Jon whined while Damian shrugged nonchalantly.
She was still surprised how she was currently in Wayne Manor. Damian invited her to Christmas dinner in Wayne Manor and that surprised her. Jon agreed happily saying that he and his family too was invited since they were friends. She at first declined saying that she wouldn't want want to trouble them. But Damian insisted it and said that the one inviting her was his father and his brothers too. She was surprised by hearing it, but she eventually agreed which now lead to this.
"Well the others are in the dinning room. I just arrived and was walking there"
"Well, come on then! I don't want to be late!" Jon grabbed Marinette and dragged her to the dinning room with Damian grumbling behind, following the pair.
As they arrived, they were amazed by the sight. The room was decorated with lots of Christmas decorations. The huge long table was placed by lots of plates. While the people in it was conversing with each other.
Jon wished them all, "Merry Christmas Everyone!" They all returned it by wishing him back.
Jon then proceeded to go to each Wayne and wished them a Merry Christmas while Marinette tagged along and also wished each person in the room a Merry Christmas.
"Merry Christmas Dick!"
"Merry Christmas Tim" He nodded and replied back.
"Merry Christmas to you too Marinette!"
"You look amazing! The design of the dress fits you perfectly!"
"I agree, it does fit you amazingly"
She smiled, "Thank you, you both look dashing as usual. Did you style your hair Dick, and you too Tim?"
As Marinette, Dick and Tim chatted when someone interrupted them.
"Heyy Cupcake!"
"Jason! Merry Christmas!"
"Merry Christmas to you too Sunshine!"
"You look stunning!"
"Thank you, you look good too!"
"Thanks! Your dress is amazing! Did you make it yourself?"
"Yes, I did, how did you know?" She smiled amused.
"I have an eye to detail"
"No you don't! You might be lucky today!"
The brothers bicker and then chatted away with Marinette.
Meanwhile Damian and Jon talked by themselves.
"I'm starting to regret inviting Marinette here" Jon tilted his head confused.
"What do you mean? Why?"
"Because my brothers are hogging her up" Damian crossed his arms, annoyed and was grumbling about it.
While Jon held his laugh, amused by his reaction. "Well, they are because they rarely see Marinette and is happy seeing her here"
"I suppose"
"Well, I'm joining them"
"What?"
Jon joined in the brother and Marinette and chatted away.
While Damian cursed at him and Jon heard it and was amused about it.
After a while of chatting....
"Dinner is served" Alfred informed and they all sit down. The Wayne Boys fought for the seat next to Marinette. And eventually Damian won and sat next to her and the other side of her was Jon. The food came out and there was a lot! And they all look and smell delicious. Then they ate and chatted. The food was delicious! Alfred did an amazing job cooking them!
"Well, I see that Marinette is here" Bruce spoke up and she nodded.
"Yes, thank you for inviting me Mr Wayne"
"You're welcome, are you enjoying yourself?"
"Yes, the boys are very nice and the food taste delicious!" She replied.
"That's great to hear that they are behaving well" He look at the boys who were nodding.
"Are you acquainted with the Kent's? Except Jon, of course" Bruce questioned.
"Yes, I've met them at your previous Gala. It's been a while though"
"Marinette! You're here! I didn't know you were!" Lois spoke up from beside Jon.
"You look lovely! Did you make the dress? It looks amazing on you!"
She nodded smiling, "Thank you Ms Lane" She dismissed it, "You know I don't like being called Ms Lane. Call me Lois"
"You also look pretty, Ms Lois" She smiled.
"You also know my husband, Clark" Marinette nodded.
"Hello Marinette, Jon has been talking about you a lot"
"Hey!" Jon flushed in embarrassment, Clark and Lois laughed.
"That's true. And you've never met our eldest son, Conner Kent."
"You must be the infamous Marinette and Cupcake Jason and the Wayne boys has been talking about has been talking about"
"Yep, she's the one and only!"
"I guess, I never knew they talked about me?"
"A lot! You should've hear them-"
"That's enough"
Conner laughed, "I think we are going to be good friends" She smiled and nodded.
They all then continued chatting and eating, after they finished, they moved to the living room.
It was amazingly decorated by Christmas decorations. Probably done by Alfred, but he did an amazing job! They all sat down and chatted.
"Hey, do you want to play some games?" Jason offered.
"Sure"
Marinette apparently fought Jason and beat him.
"I won"
The winning screen on Marinette's side light up while losing was in Jason's.
"Impossible! How could you win!?"
"Yeah, Jason is pretty good at this game" Tim admitted amused.
"Maybe Todd got worse in the game" Damian let out a few laughs.
"Another round!" Jason demanded and she nodded.
"Impossible! You won again" Jason said horrified.
"Great work sunshine!" Conner applauded alongside Jon, amused by Jason's distress.
They continued to play but they kept bickering and eventually Bruce confiscated the games. Alfred suggested to adding decorations to the living room, or some ornaments to the Christmas tree.
Marinette was ecstatic, she has always wanted to decorate in Christmas. She never had the chance with her family though, since she was normally alone in Christmas or in her friends house. She hang a few baubles in the Christmas tree, the boys joined in and started bickering. They then started making lots of paper crafts, Marinette specifically. The boys did tried to make some paper crafts but failed miserably, except for Dick and Jon who ended up with amazing cuts of paper.
The boys started bickering again and they ended up back to chatting.
Unbeknownst to Damian and Marinette, who was still into chatting with each other, they all slowly went away and left the pair alone, while having a plan instead. Conner, being the tallest of them all, hanged a mistletoe on the doorway while Jon lead the pair to the door. After he managed to lead them under the mistletoe, he left.
Jason whistled, "Hey love birds!" He grabbed the pairs attention, who turned their heads to him and pointed upwards. They were confused and looked upwards where he had pointed.
Their eyes widened at what he had pointed, "A mistletoe!"
"You both know the tradition! You need to do it!" They looked at each other embarrassed.
By now, the whole room's attention was on them. Even the adults and Alfred. They were indeed amused by the boys tactics to the pair.
"W-well, we don't need to do it if we are not comfortable Marinette" Damian said and she nodded.
They looked at each other and looked away, they were embarrassed which was amusing.
While the boys were chanting them to kiss, they were hesitant and embarrassed.
Marinette then hurriedly kissed Damian in the cheek and walked away immediately, both of them flushed.
They cheered despite what she did was not something they had predicted but nevertheless it was a kiss! And surprisingly, Marinette did it! Which means something.
Extra:
Damian flushed after she had kissed him in the cheeks. She kissed him! His heart fluttered, it felt good and warm. He didn't mind if it happened again, or maybe next time he would do it to Marinette. He smiled the entire night, thinking of the kiss Marinette had given him.
"How was the kiss little bird?"
"It was good" Damian said in a daze.
"Look someone has a crush on Marinette!"
"No, he had fell head over heels for her"
"Yes, he's smitten for her"
Damian shoot them some batarangs ad they froze in their spot, including the Kent boys. Luckily, Marinette didn't see it as she was busy talking. While he was still smiling at the kiss, nothing seem to ruin his mood that night.
Marinette flushed embarrassed. Why did she do it!? What had gotten into her? She kissed Damian! Kissed! Even if it was in the cheeks. But, it did feel good. Her heart flutter and was warm. She didn't mind if it were to happen again.
"How did it feel?" Lois asked teasingly.
"It felt, nice" She still had some red and Lois laughed.

That night when everyone had went home. The boys needed to find the presents that Bruce and Alfred had hidden from them. They couldn't wait until the next day, so when they thought that Bruce and Alfred has slept, the batboys met up and talked about the where the presents could be hidden.
They then decided to search in the living room first while they were searching in the dark, Bruce managed to stumble upon the boys searching for the presents while he was currently holding them. He was questioning them while the boys tried to look as innocent as possible while thinking of an excuse. Alfred somehow had appeared behind Bruce and laughed at the mess that the boys had caused and Bruce was rubbing his temple in distress.
