“Monkey King? It's me, MK! I brought you some takeout!" She called out, standing outside his bathroom door.
No response, MK sighed as she knocked again.
"Monkey King, please come out! Everyone's worried about you. You can't stay in there forever!" She still getting no response from her mentor.
He's been like this for days, He won't come out of his room, not coming out once since…
The successor felt a tug at her shirt and looks down to see Bai-He taking her hand leading her away. "It’s okay, you tried. Father says he needs more time to heal."
MK glanced at the door sadly before walking away with her.
The Monkey King sat on the bathroom floor, the shower water ran over his body. The pain; the only thing the water couldn't wash away. He placed his hand on his now flat stomach, it hurt so much to think about now, it wasn't fair to him.
He....he had recently lost the baby he and Macaque were expecting.
It's not fair, it just wasn't fair! Why was this happening?! He was so happy, everyone was.
The weeping monkey hung his head low as the shower water continued to poor down on his naked body. But you wanna know what even sadder?
This isn't the first time this happened.
This actually makes it his second miscarriage...
