There weren't many details – just the spell's text and a few vague notes. One piece of information he was able to read was that the spell was claimed to be so powerful that, if necessary, it would stop the Monkey Demon himself. (…) Why hadn't Wukong mentioned such spells earlier?”

Hank wanted to celebrate a successful case. It was a long and grueling one, probably the worst one they've had since the revolution. Connor didn't see a point to it, celebrating doing their job? It seemed a little odd, but Hank was insistent. So he took him to a bar. Not Jimmy's bar, not due to anything bad, Hank said he just wanted to switch things up. Connor didn't question it. Hank was weird sometimes.
Connor felt slightly excited, the idea of celebrating sort of made him feel giddy.

Gavin Reed is partnered up with Hank and Connor on a case, much to the disgust of all three of them. However, something changes and Connor finds himself compelled to obey everything Reed tells him to do. With Reed finally getting his petty revenge on Connor for merely existing, Connor tries to make Hank aware of the nightmare he's stuck in. -
