Summary
Soulmates are a funny thing; some universes have them, and some don't. Some have them marked clearly by a red string, a matching mark, a name or timer on a wrist, or something else. Some of them have no outward marks, but you just know anyway. Sometimes, these bonds stretch across many lifetimes. Others don't even survive one. This story is about one of the special ones that transcended lifetimes.

To an angel and a demon,
To a prince and his night,
