Craig Wingman Tucker

Summary:

Craig and Tweek are seniors in high school now. By this point, they have been “dating” for seven years. The only problem is that…they were really fake dating for seven years. They did this to please the Asian girls and the other South Park residents. Craig is put into an awkward position when he becomes 17 as his friends begin to experience their firsts with their partners. Craig worries his relationship with Tweek is holding Tweek back. Thus, Craig makes a plan to set up Tweek with a girl.

Chapter 1: Let's Break Up

Chapter Text

→Craig's Bedroom

“W-What!?!” Says Tweek as he grips the bed sheets below him.

“I think we should break up,” says Craig, deadpan.

“Have I-I done something- agh- to upset you?” Asks Tweek, nervous.

“No, no, of course not. Let me explain myself,” says Craig. He sits at the side of the bed and smiles softly at Tweek. “You see…I know your secret.”

“I don’t have a secret!” Yelps Tweek.

“It’s not a bad thing, Tweek. I’ve just noticed that kids our age are beginning to couple up; I’ve also noticed that you seem to have a thing for a girl at our school.” Says Craig, with a smirk.

“N-No I don’t!” says Tweek, genuinely confused.

He must be embarrassed, thinks Craig. “You don’t have to be so bashful, Tweek. Plenty of guys our age begin to feel things about girls,” he says as he puts his arm around Tweek. “In fact, I think you’re a bit of a late bloomer.”

Tweek is silent. He is in disbelief.

“Anyways, I’m afraid things won’t work out with her, if we’re still dating.” Says Craig. “This means we have to break up.”

“But Craig…” says Tweek softly. “I don’t want to break up. You’re my best friend.”

“I know.” Says Craig. “Don’t worry. I promise we will still be friends after this. We can still sleep over at each other’s houses every night and play video games together.” Craig then kisses Tweek’s cheek ‘platonically’ “I’m okay with your crush Tweek. I’m happy for you, and I’m willing to get you two together.”

“Okay…” says Tweek.

And from this point, their seven year-long relationship came to an end.

→Cafeteria

“WHAT!?!” Says Tolkien and Clyde in unison.

“You guys b-bro-broke up???” Asks Jimmy.

“Yep,” says Craig innocently. “Don’t worry guys, it won’t change our friendship. We are still the best of friends, right, Tweek?”

“Yes…” says Tweek gingerly.

“What is gonna happen when the Asian girls find out?” Pleads Tolkien with his hands pressed against the lunch table.

“We need you guys to keep our break up a secret, so we don’t upset the Asian girls.” Says Craig.

“Sure man,” says Clyde. “I’m just so shocked that this happened out of nowhere…”

“Stuff happens,” says Craig as he steals a glance at Tweek. He has been twitching more than usual today. He must be nervous about the Asian girls finding out . With this, Craig gently pats Tweek’s shoulder, “Don’t worry hon-...Tweek, the Asian girls won’t find out.”

Tweek manages to force a smile and turns his gaze back to his hands grasping his thermos.

He still looks upset, thinks Craig.

The bell rings and Craig and Tweek head to their shared class. Craig then nudges Tweek.

“W-What?” Asks Tweek.

“Go on then, talk to her,” says Craig.

Craig stands there brazenly, waiting for Tweek to make a move. He sees Tweek slowly approach Esther. I knew it! I knew he liked her! Thinks Craig to himself. Craig is so proud of himself he fails to hear a single word the pair exchanges. As Tweek talks to Esther, Craig notices how Tweek keeps glancing at Craig for reassurance. He looks so cute. I mean, if I were Esther I wouldn’t know how to turn down such an adorable face.

Craig was so lost in thought that he had only come back to his senses once Tweek and Esther parted ways. He quickly raises his hand to give Tweek a thumbs up, and promptly sits at his desk–the desk right next to Tweek.

TWEEK POV

“Go on then, talk to her,” says Craig.

At this point, Tweek realizes his mistake of agreeing to Craig’s proposition. He genuinely cannot imagine who Craig thinks he has a crush on. Tweek lifts the corner of his mouth, so as to fake a grin, and ponders on who to ‘make a move on.’

Well…Esther seems pretty nice. Tweek walks towards Esther and says hello.

“Hi Tweek, do you need something?” Asks Esther.

Tweek glances at Craig and notices that he is totally in a daze. He takes advantage of this to have a normal conversation with Esther.

“I wanted to ask you if you found the homework d-difficult yesterday.” Says Tweek. He clutches the bottom of his shirt as he is nervous to talk to someone he doesn’t know well.

“Oh! I didn’t find it particularly difficult,” says Esther. “Are you struggling with the material?”

“I am,” says Tweek. “I was wondering if w-we could- agh! Be f-friends?”

Esther giggles. “Of course, Tweek,” she says. “Why not?”

At the end of their short exchange Tweek looks at Craig who signals a thumbs up. Tweek giggles, he must be proud of me.

CRAIG POV

“How did it go?” Asks Craig.

“She says she wants to be friends.” Answers Tweek.

“Perfect!” Craig responds. “Most relationships start with friendship.”

“Just like ours,” says Tweek, jokingly.

“Yeah, well, most real relationships start that way too.” Says Craig.

“Y-Yeah.” Says Tweek.

Once class ends, Tweek and Craig leave together–like usual.

“Do you want to sleep over at mine tonight?” Asks Craig.

“Sure.” Says Tweek.

Craig walks Tweek to his car and drives them to Craig’s house.

Craig stares at the bright red spot on the traffic light. Now that I think about it…Tweek and I never told our parents we broke up. “Hey Tweek,”

“Yes?” Says Tweek.

“You know, our parents don’t know yet about us breaking up. We should just act normal for now–until you get with your girlfriend of course.”

“O-Okay.” Says Tweek.

When the two boys enter Craig’s house, Craig’s mom greets Tweek with a smile.

“Are you staying the night, Tweek?” Asks Craig’s mom.

“Yes, i-if that’s alright?” Says Tweek.

“You’re always welcome here, Tweek. I’ll call you two down for dinner soon.” Says Craig’s mom.

Man, I really am going to miss having Tweek as my boyfriend. He gets along so well with my family, it makes things so easy. Even my dad came around to liking Tweek.

“Are you up for playing Minecraft?” Asks Craig.

“Sure.” Says Tweek.

Craig loved playing video games with Tweek. He loved the way his nose crinkled every time he died. He loved to see the light freckles staining his cheeks–it reminded him of a sky full of stars. Yes, it was undeniable that Tweek was so darn cute. He would’ve been popular with the girls, if it weren’t for me. Craig begins to feel guilty, as he believes his relationship with Tweek has prevented Tweek from ever getting a girlfriend. That is why he is so determined to set Tweek free, and let him choose whoever he wants to choose.

“C-Craig?” Asks Tweek.

“Huh?” Says Craig

“You seem distracted,” says Tweek. “While you were standing there…a c-creeper blew up our house.”

“Oh shoot,” Craig began to feel sorry again . “Why don’t we sleep in that cave over there?”

Craig and Tweek’s characters walk into the dingy minecraft cave.

“Look what I got,” says Craig as he places two beds–one blue and one green–right next to each other. “Let’s sleep until day time!”

A light pink color begins to paint Tweek’s cheek. Cute , thinks Craig. So cute.

The two boys are soon called downstairs for dinner.

Tweek struggles to eat his food without making a mess sometimes, especially when he is anxious. Craig enjoys feeding Tweek parts of a meal to avoid a mess. I wonder if Esther will do the same thing for him, I hope so.

When the boys head back upstairs, they get ready for bed.

As they lie next to each other, Craig notices how Tweek is twitching more than usual. He holds Tweek in response, as it normally calms him down.

“Is something bothering you Tweek? You’ve been anxious all day.” Asks Craig.

Tweek thinks for a moment, probably to articulate his words. “I don’t want to break up, Craig. I l-”

“I like you too,” says Craig giggling. “But if you ever want to have your first kiss or experience a real relationship, we have to break up.”

“Why?” Asks Tweek.

“Because we’re not gay.” Says Craig. The two are silent for a moment. “I’m not gay,” continues Craig. “Are you gay?”

“No,” Tweek paused. “I’m not.”
