Summary
Teenage Renton and Simon take recreational drugs and try to get into a club. This isn't meant to be, and the plan changes. Also, Renton has a ticket to a football match the next morning, Gordon Durie’s last game with Hibernian. Simon couldn't care less, though.

"Let’s fuckin' go!” says Renton, pushing Simon toward the window. That’s when Renton realizes something has happened to his sense of touch. Touching Simon feels nice. Really nice. His shirt is soft under Renton’s fingers, and underneath, Simon radiates body heat. The sensation is vivid to an almost disorienting degree, as if Renton’s entire skin has been rewired to feel the world in high definition.
