In outer space, a lone astronaut named Kat is in her spaceship, looking at her device to see if there’s something undiscovered in the vast universe. She noticed an exoplanet twice the size of Earth caught her eye.
The exoplanet is 10% land and 90% water and orbits around an A-type star. Her dark brown eyes widened as she gasped at the planet being spotted on her navigator.
“Is that it?” Kat assumed as she looked outside at the window and glanced at the watery surface of the exoplanet and its humongous size. Compared to the spaceship Kat was in, it was super tiny compared to the enormous planet.
“Wow, that’s… big…” Kat gasped as she looked at the actual exoplanet outside of her spaceship.
So Kat decided to land on the colossal exoplanet as she controlled her spaceship to reach the surface she had never been to before.
A few moments later, the spacecraft softly crashed on a small desert island before the entrance opened automatically. Kat then puts on her shiny white helmet, suit, and boots before leaving the spaceship as her feet touch the grainy sand of the island.
“What is this place? There’s nothing much else that surrounds me…” Kat said confusingly as she walked on the sandy surface.
The currently confused astronaut suddenly notices a mysterious creature lurking inside the coast, so she decides to get close.
Kat bends over to look at the bubbling water, indicating life was inhabiting the large exoplanet. She raised her brow as a pair of thin eyestalks with big spherical blue eyes emerged from the sea.
“What is that?” Kat questioned herself as she looked at the unknown species. The creature suddenly jumped onto Kat, causing her to lie down on her back as she screamed.
The small alien creature has a light yellow coloration with bright blue eyes connected by stalks, four webbed feet, and oral tentacles. The alien started sniffing the scared astronaut as it licked her helmet with its thin, prehensile tongue.
“HEY!! GET OFF OF ME!!” Kat hissed at the alien as it licked her before she slightly got up. The alien is now sitting on her lap as it stares at her, whimpering.
“Did I just hurt you, little fella?” Kat asked the alien since it’s now been hurt by her.
The alien started to cry in a gurgling noise as Kat began to comfort it. “It’s ok, my little buddy. Maybe I will call you Blorpy, and you will be my pet,” she asked the alien as it stopped crying. So Kat and her new pet alien decide to get up, return to the spaceship, and leave the exoplanet for good.
