“Cyno, if you’re duty bound to kill me- If Lord Kusanali wills it and you cannot refuse, how would you do it?” Alhaitham asks, his head resting on Cyno's thighs.
The question forces Cyno to drop the TCG cards in his hand and look down to face him, “Why do you speak so ominously, Alhaitham? Have you done anything deserving of death? You know that I do not wish to cross blades with you ever again.”
“I am merely speaking out of curiosity since you are the General Mahamatra.”
Cyno sighs but humors Alhaitham's grim hypotheticals, “I would do everything in my power to kill the spirit of the man called Cyno until nothing of him is left. And when all that remains is the General Mahamatra, he will kill you.”
“Then, before the Staff of Scarlet Sands pierces my heart, I will mourn each second I have lost you.”
