Impling Jason knows the only way to survive is to leave the Netherworld, somehow get into the human world. But of course, there is no chance of his being summoned, he's some random no-name demon.
But when he does get summoned - by accident, apparently - by some random human dressed like a bat, Jason knows this is his chance.
