Mace was an Alpha, Master Ti was an Omega, they had shared a Heat a few years earlier... for anyone else, they should be a loving, bonded couple or hate each other after a messy break-up because outside these walls helping each other during these moments without expecting anything in return was simply not possible, it was not understandable, it was not sensible.
They were neither of those things, however, because they were Jedi.
