   Summary

   In the world we all know, Shi Qingxuan and He Xuan go their separate ways a tragedy. Their lots in life finally lead them apart, and that is that. However, this is not that world.

   He Xuan never expected to be saddled with godhood after all these years, but now—to his great irritation—his luck is far too good, and he doesn't even know how, but he's wound up the new Water Master. And word spreads fast among ghosts.

   Shi Qingxuan is most decidedly dead. Sepsis does that, after all. But that doesn't mean they're finished with this world, and they recently caught wind of a conveniently timed new Water Master. So they find a shrine by the sea.

   And they pray.
