Summary
Separated as freshly mutated baby turtles, Leo (aka X, aka Experiment Alpha 002-2) is raised by the great and powerful Baron Draxum, to be the warrior he was designed to be.
A few years later, when Splinter's three sons are turtle tots, their father reveals to them that a fourth brother perished in a fire; and Donnie tells his dad that he dreamed about this fourth turtle.
Fast forward to the present, the three turtles are bumbling teenage ninjas who get in the way of the powerful Draxum. His ninja assassin is ordered to deal with the medddlers, and during combat the caped, masked ninja is surprised to discover the mutant turtle from his childhood dreams is not only real, but also his very own brother.
X wants to draw close to his brothers, but the slider's only father-figure wants them dead, after they refuse to join him and subsequently destroy his lab.
Thrown in the middle of two worlds, will X carry out the will of his master, or will the lives of his family be precious in his eyes?
Also, as time progresses Leo must find the answer to some hard-hitting questions, such as: Who can he trust? Who is steeping him in a cesspool of lies and deception? And...
Where will his loyalties lie?
