Summary
Because Mikey’s not paying attention to what’s in front of them, Leo sees it first through the thinning fog. He thinks it’s a tree trunk at a glance, tall and slender and curving oddly where it rises above the others. Then it moves, bending as if in a wind, and by the time it twists around to face the car, Leo realizes it’s not a tree at all.
“What,” he says, feeling entirely too small in the open-top Jeep.
Mikey, who went through a dinosaur phase that lasted the entirety of his pre-teen years, points at it and declares, “Sauropod!”
“Animatronic,” Leo says, “right?”
“Right,” Mikey parrots automatically. Then, more slowly, “I mean, it has to be. Right?”
“Right,” Leo agrees, but his heart isn’t in it.
The first Jeep has slowed to an abrupt stop, and theirs slows to a stop behind it. The dinosaur trumpets at them, like the elephants at Mikey’s zoo, and half a dozen other slender necks rise out of the mist at the call to peer in their direction.

While walking through the Hidden City, the twins are attacked by witches. In the aftermath, Leo gets hit with two curses: a speechless curse and an obedience curse. Essentially, Leo can no longer talk and must obey every command that his family gives him. If his family try to get him to talk or he disobeys an order, then Leo experiences a lot of pain. His brothers desperately try and help him, but will they be able to find a cure in time, or will Leo be cursed forever?

Hey so.. I'm not famous enough for this to really be an issue, and to be honest this fic did not gain enough attention for anyone reading this to really care, but it felt warranted anyway, I started this fic two years ago and left it when I moved across the country, not a whole lot is posted but a whole lot has been written. Seven months. It's been seven months since Splinter made Leonardo the new leader. It's been seven months of progressively worse arguing and now it's constant. Michelangelo's effectively moved in with Baron Draxum three weeks ago at Donnie's insistence and Splinter is always somewhere the conflict isn’t.
Donatello spends most of his time in his lab, leaving at night for some fresh air and to deal with old enemies. Someone has to, after all, and with two specific turtles refusing to leave the lair, it might as well be him.
However, one specific enemy might be growing into something more than he can handle on his own.
It’s on one of his escapes from the lair, however, that starts a whole strange chain of events. A chain of events where he finds himself very much unwillingly and begrudgingly not on his own, anymore. All thanks to a tripped motion sensor and Hypno-Potamus and Warren Stone.
Donatello's never helping anyone out of the sewer again.
