Summary

Maali wakes as a monster. Her name's about as much as she can remember of life before becoming another soldat in Lord Heisenberg's growing army. That, and Donna Beneviento. Both are taken away from her.OR
Hiker, Maali Siragusa, goes missing for months in the mountains of Romania after an accident. Her family believes her dead, but actually she lives out a relatively worry-free existence in her cottagecore lesbian slice of life with Donna until another "accident" occurs much more purposefully this time that lands her in one of the many graves of the ominous cult village. Of course, Karl Heisenberg digs her body up. And, of course, he can't let a strong body go to waste when a revolutionary power needs building. Revived as a soldat, she becomes Wilhelmina, the most advanced project of Heisenberg's yet, and potentially the key to defeating Mother Miranda (and a certain someone's metal box heart).
