Summary
It’s exactly one week later when their discussion comes back to haunt Eddie in the form of a hand scrawled note in the middle of a loud ass coffee shop. It read: “You should write about us fucking. Use it as inspiration.” It takes everything in him not to spurt his coffee all over his brand new laptop in the middle of the cafe. When he looks up, Steve is smiling so hard Eddie thinks his face might split open.
“Babe, what the fuck are you talking about?”
“I figured out what your username is.”
“What?!” Eddie all but shrieks, clapping a hand over his mouth immediately after, glancing around in embarrassment. Thankfully, only a few bored people from the line give him a second glance.
“Don’t ask questions. I have my ways, and I know you haven’t written shit in months.”
